If you listen to what Ikora and the ghost say it seems like these might be linked to something more later on. I have gotten the speed burst x5 completed on every planet multiple times since I did this and nothing yet but maybe. I haven't gotten the mentioning of a weapon on any other planet but the moon. Not saying it isn't said, just hasn't popped up for me. It is probably just random dialogue they put in for the patrol but it would be a nifty way to hide something. It's not as crackpot a theory as dance for an hour in front of every exo in the tower. I don't think it does much of anything right now but we are taking readings of the burst for something. Let me know if any of you have had any better luck.

And yes I'm aware that the red bull quest uses these but it doesn't get you a weapon and I doubt the hive designed a sparrow for you to use.

1 ReplyThe line from ghost is more of a joke than anything. Ikora's line is more interesting though. Not sure what to make of that.

When she mentions it may be linked to a weapon, she's meaning it may be linked to a hive or some other species weapon that they could use against us and you getting the readings are proving its either not a weapon or it is, which I think it's not

Okay so people can honestly believe that breaking down a ton of heavy weapons in front of the gunsmith will give them the sleeper (which we know now was not the case) but I make an observation about some dialogue and I'm just the biggest moron you've ever seen? Really?

1 ReplyLiterally nothing they say implies anything. Like seriously I don't even understand why'd you'd think they had any secret meaning based on the dialogue.
