@Bungie, give us a Forge Mode and I'll build us a time machine.

There are a lot of things that existed in Halo that I'd like to see in Destiny and maybe one day I'll write about some more, but one thing that is sorely missing from Destiny is player created content. I spent more time using the Forge in Reach than I did playing the actual game (see above video). Didn't use Halo 3's too much because it was just that big room, but Timesplitters 2 had an amazing map creator and I made dozens of maps with it including recreations of The Temple and The Facility from GoldenEye. So what do you think Cozmo? Maybe you could run it by the Devs and see what they think. Obviously we're talking Destiny 2 here, but it would be worth the wait. Oh, and I imagine if we had a Forge Mode, we might see some sweet Sparrow Racing tracks... ;) Now someone tell me why the hell I'm still up...   • This is how they could integrate it into the Lore: [b]Crucible[/b] - Existing maps can be customized, or new ones could be built from scratch. Spawn points, ammo caches, vehicle spawn points, and obstacles can be spawned in/moved around. ~(New Map) Lord Shaax: "We've recently liberated this area from [Fallen/Hive/Vex/Cabal] control. We need to prepare it for more Guardian training! ~(Old Map) Lord Shaax: "We need to improve this arena. Show us what you can come up with!" [b]Strike[/b] - New areas could be created. Choose beginning area, first wave defense location, second wave defense location (optional), and "Boss" room. Spawn areas can be set for enemies to either spawn in a general area (mild variety) or in specific locations. The boss can be selected from a preset list. Environments can be modified to add diversity and varied gameplay. ~[Mentor of Choice]: We have a chance to free this territory from [enemy] control. Spawn areas can be set for enemies to either spawn in a general area (mild variety) or in specific locations. Environments can be modified to add diversity and varied gameplay. ~(Item Hunt) [Ghost/Eris/Petra]: [Items] were [crucial/stolen]. They must be recovered! ~(Scan Location) [Ghost/Eris/Petra]: (A connection needs to be made, something unusual needs to be analyzed...fight to a location to get a quick scan) ~(Wave Defense) [Ghost/Eris/Petra]: Recover information [from the Golden Age/Hive Activity/Fallen Intel] here or steal information from the enemy! ~(Target an enemy) [Ghost/Eris/Petra]: There is a surge of power in this location. Stop this growing threat before it can make a full impact against us! [b]Patrol[/b] - Create a new environment or modify an existing one. Beacons can be moved around, added, or removed, and their missions can be customized (Target location, item drops, etc). ~[Mentor]: We need intel on this location. We must begin to secure this area!
