I'd love to see that added. It'd be even better if was the default behavior for Double Jump, so you'd have more reason not to take Triple Jump/Blink 90% of the time.
This is the kind of thing I don't understand why people vote "no" on. As a community, we should give Bungie more leeway to experiment with cool new toys for us to play with. I get that there is something to be said for the pure, "pristine" shooter, but Destiny is not set up to be that, and expecting it to be holds it back from its real potential.

The game isn't meant to be like cod. The walls aren't specifically set up for it either. Finally, it would be a useless feature no one would use. Just like BO3, no one cares about it.

Maybe it would be useless, and maybe it wouldn't. If it did end up being useless as a combat maneuver, it would still help a bit with the Hunter's low jump height in some of the PvE encounters where platforming plays a part. The broader point, though, is that the community seems very narrow minded when it comes to experimentation. People seem to have this automatic negative reaction to the addition of new talents or abilities. The thing is, I'd bet we all have things in the game we'd like to see tinkered with or expanded upon, but before any idea beyond simple gun balance can be explored the community needs to get comfortable with the notion of those ideas being explored. Some of them might not turn out exactly the way their proponents thought, but the alternative is stagnation. As far as this not being CoD, CoD apparently doesn't have any problem with being Destiny. If the mechanic is fun and interesting, what does it matter if another franchise did it first?
