I'm going to save my 40$, then fork out an extra $20 (which I'm sure ide be spending within 4 months on Destiny's NEXT dlc) and buying Fallout 4.
See how I can get an entirely new game?
Then, I can spend thousands of hours on Fallout, and COME BACk to destiny when the Dlc is $10. Or free. And get just as much enjoyment out of it.
$40 DLC just isent worth it for any game. And I feel like we, as gamers, shouldn't let this become industry standard practice.
I love Destiny, but Bungie are hounding our wallets like strippers at a club.

$40 wouldn't even be a huge problem if they had a record of delivering high quality, satisfying content. It's just that with the way their "expansions" have turned out I'm not sure how anybody could look at one of them and say "Oh hell yeah! Sign me up for more of this at double the price!"
-
Thats my plan too. Cant believe people pre ordered it for a couple rewards hahaha. Hooefully they release a combo dlc pack so i can actually get some storyline by the time i feel like playin again
-
Bump. Gotta keep it a buyer's market.
-
Except the strippers leave me feeling more satisfied...
-
You have some very accommodating strippers then
-
Nah, it's just that even they are able to jump the low bar that Bungie sets.
-
Not necessarily. But our game developer folks seem to be not really very accommodating... Or else why do we still have glitches in current endgame activities? But I think they have a plan now for fixing it. Make it obsolete. At least the strippers feign interest. They'll even communicate with you. And they smell better.

I think they become prostitutes at that point
