Hi Blue0wl24, Are you using WiFi? If so, please try switching to a wired connection temporarily. This is an important first troubleshooting step to rule out wireless signal strength/stability as a possible cause.

  • I get the anteater code at least once a day. I'm hardwired, have a 130 Mb/s connection, PS4 is set with a static IP in a DMZ and I forwarded all the ports recommended on top of that. There is nothing wrong on my end, it's a Bungie issue.

  • Same issue here with 2 dif accounts. My modem is literally sitting on top of ps4 and less than 3wks old. Only way it would be better is if I lived in Phoenix. (Main ISP hub for AZ) or could afford dsat. So it definitely not your end OP. This is a trunk or non- dedicated server issue for Destiny.

  • Having same issue on ps3 ...haven't been able to play without getting kicked off like 4 times a day for the past week. It's frustrating that Bungie is trying to make it seem like a user connectivity issue when the error message literally reads Destiny server connection error which is an entirely different error message from the one you get when the PSN is having internet issues. How can the wifi for my PSN connection be perfect but the same WiFi for Destiny not work?? Seems like it's not on our end Bungle *facepalm*

  • I am using WiFi. But my strength is amazing and the connection is successful. I just can't play Destiny. This has been going on since yesterday and I can't just switch to a wired connection because the modem is in a different room of the house. I don't want to sound rude because I'm sure you guys are doing your best, but for as much money as people pay for this game, it shouldnt matter if I'm using wired or wireless.

  • I know this may not be a permanent solution, but switching to wired temporarily will at least help us narrow down the source of the issue. It's an important step to determining which troubleshooting steps to take next.

  • Using a wired connection and get kicked from matches repeatedly. No issues with other games.

  • What if the connection is already wired? Mines is and I have the same issues.

  • This would still indicate a problem with the stability of the connection. You may want to try replacing the ethernet cable or contacting your ISP to determine if there are other steps you can take to improve the integrity of data traveling between your console and Bungie's servers

  • I only play hardwired, and for about 3 weeks now or so, I've been getting kicked with Anteater on a regular basis, almost a daily thing!! Don't tell me to contact my internet provider or change my cable, I've done it all and now it's saying NAT 3 type of error when I play, FIX your system bungie!! I never had any problem like this before NEVER!!! I don't have any other issues with any other game when I play online, only yours now! ESO had it's launch issues, but that was at launch, this is a year later for you clowns and you still can't get this together. WTF!???

  • Look man....I love the game. I seriously do. When I tell you that I haven't had problems up until about three weeks ago I mean it. I've been playing from the start, I am getting your expansion, what I'm not getting is the sub par comcast support solutions you guys are tossing out there. I'll tell you this much, I've gone through several things from your help section to googling the issue. I honestly was writing my reply to the first person because I wanted you guys to know its not a wifi thing or something wrong with our equipment, open your eyes man, you've got something going on at your end. I'm actually playing now as we speak and I'll tell you this, I haven't had an issue in a couple of hours. Buuuuut as I typed this my cousin just messaged and said he is amongst the man people that can't play at the moment...,so what does that also tell you? Something is wrong on your end.

  • +100 agree,, me the same problem in the same period of time,, all that begin 2 or 3 weeks ago, im on ps4 play since last Dec. Wz the same router, same connection settings,, I never experienced removing from game world cuz this family of errors,, beaver, babon,anteater, like I did last days and still happen now, ur game becomes unplayable,, I already preorder Ttk, dont disappoint me bungie

  • Can you explain why no other game I play with online connectivity experiences these issues? All I keep reading from Bungie is blaming everything other than themselves, yet the clear indication is that it's you. Literally, no other game I play does this. That's not a coincidence.
