A lot of things might be at play here.
You mention noting damage on a level 26 character, versus values seen on a level 34 character. Are you fighting enemies of a higher level than your level 26 character? Each level an enemy is above you, reduces damage, until you cannot even damage enemies four or more levels higher than yourself.
Range may be a factor - after certain distances, the damage of a gun begins to fall off.
For fatebringer - did you recently switch to explosive rounds? That perk removes a percentage of the direct damage done, and changes it to area damage. The makes the initial hit, look weaker.
Were you recently playing in a modifier driven encounter? Elemental Burn, Small Arms, and Specialist modifiers, would all impact the damage weapons can do.

Stop using your mentor to modify my posts, I didn't ask for your help nor want. A Ninja mod, as if I care. Stop posting crap with my tag!

No dude, All mine are lvl 34. No I didn't change anything from the previous weeks and it is taking more rounds now to down enemies, without question. Second some of these are regular strikes that are always the same. I've played with modifiers in POE, I've beaten Skolas a lot. I mention the hit markers because they show I'm hitting critical, yet it is taking an entire clip to down an arc shield with a fatebringer.... Taking an entire sniper clip to take down a shield.... meaning ldr took 4, Spear took 6-entire field scout....

Edited by Anidien: 8/9/2015 10:10:56 PMSkolas currently has the Small Arms modifier. Not only does this modifier buff damage on primary weapons, it also decreases the damage output of secondary and heavy weapons. I'm not sure why fatebringer would be different - video may help.

Do you not read!? I'm saying I'm very used to how the system works and all the modifiers, this is beyond that and your comments are rather useless. It took full clips of fatebringer to bring down a lvl 26 enemies arc shield with a faitbringer, it took 6 Spear snipping rounds, that is just too strong of a shield. Similar to the servitors shield on skolas after the burns were removed, they lowered skolas hitpoints but not the servitors.... that same funny business was seen on several strikes, and story mode, and thorn bounty.... I don't need a Mentor, I need someone at Bungie to actually look at it.

As I mentioned last, a video would help. I also understand now what you meant by the level 26 portion - remember also that there are damage caps against lower level enemies. You will not do the same damage against an enemy much lower than yourself, as you would against an enemy at or near your level. Are you noticing the same damage results against level 32-34 enemies?

Are you a newbie!? You ask questions that are totally obvious. You use an XBox, not a PS4. You can not resolve the issue, and I think if you actually read the text and post you will see your questions answered multiple times... This post is for Bungie, not Aniden.... You're of no help and your statements have nothing to do with what has been discussed here.

Take it easy man. He's taking time out of his day to try to help you. Show a little respect.

He is asking questions that are already answered, second he can do nothing, etc... I didn't ask for his help. I posted the error for bungie to look at. I play the game a lot, he is talking down like I'm a newbie, you know it might be this it might be that.... I've played these strikes a lot, I know how the health meter should go down, I solo them. They were not acting correctly for the amount of ammo spent, causing me to run out of all my ammo, making strikes that I would solo now not even possible. Other players in the same strike are getting normal damage, normal amount of rounds. Several in this thread are having the same issue, these are players that play everyday and can tell when something changes. Then you have a mentor, asking questons already asked and answered. Leave it for bungie, it's not user error.

Stop using your mod to post crap in my tag

He's doing the best he can to help you, even if you don't want his help. If you do want help from someone, then I would recommend acting in a respectful manner toward everyone. Also, try breaking your thoughts into paragraphs so they are easier to understand.

The post is for bungie, clearly stated. I'm not looking for help by anyone other than bungie. They jacked up something during reset, only they know what they did... If you're not an engineer that works on this directly I don't want your advice. I'm stating facts that something changed with the reset for several players on ps4 systems, I know several players having these issues plus those in the thread having similar issues. Again I play the game a lot, and the slightest changes I notice before bungie publishes the notes. User plays same strikes and story mode all the time, user notices the shields are taking more shots to down the shield than previous week, everything else is the same, user tries multiple weapons and issue follows. User invites friends notes same issue on his account, other players working normally. Has other friends test and some are having similar issue. Users do entire tree of destiny outside of POE notes raids damage functioning normally. All other PvE enemies with shields treating hits as if kinetic weapon damage exclude patrol. User tired of stupid questions and responses that are not knowledgeable or even on par with users own level or even on same platform. User requests Bungie look into the matter and look at any deployment patches to net code deployed within the last few weeks for potential bug causing some users with latest ps4 update to cause undesirable or unintended modifications to gaming experiences.

You'd be better off recording some videos of it happening so others can cross reference. Bungie's is going to ask you for this anyhow when they happen to respond.
-
Actually bungie has the data. They don't need the video. Now if a glitch were happening then I could see them asking for video like a guy in crucible continuously regenerating their shield or not taking damage. You can actually pull that data yourself, it is what sites like destinytracker do to get their information. A lot of game data is collected by the destiny server and they would end up using it to find out what server we are connected to, what patch was deployed, etc.... but thanks for the comment.
-
They will still ask for it like I've seen on countless other threads.
-
Edited by haydenlh2: 8/10/2015 1:04:18 AMYes, so have I.... On those I attach a video link. It would not be possible for me to record all that content and put it online as I've address the entire story and strike mode... Second it is clear in the description what is happening, aka a full clip is 12 rounds of fatebringer. That entire clip to take down a shield. An entire clip of sniper ammo also to take down a shield. Anyone whom plays the game realizes that is abnormal, unless you are a mentor or a ninja mentor or any other worthless title. In those cases you don't read the context or anything really and just make useless comments or ask obvious questions that are really already answered. Now on bungies end they will look at the hit points for the shields, look at the server data for that game, recreate the event through the server and see if they can recreate the issue. If they can, then they dive into the code and try to fix it. If they can't then they ask for other things like video, etc...

Trust me, I got your point the first time. Retyping your complaints isn't going to get you anywhere, especially with me. The only reason I even bothered to reply to your incoherent post in the first place was to tell you that you should treat people with respect. I'm going to go ahead and reiterate that you should use paragraphs and proper punctuation if you want people to be able to understand you.
