Why are people complaining about ttk's price?

We don't even know exactly what is in it and people are complaining about the price. We know there is a raid, lots of new guns, and much more. Is it because of Bungie's bad dlc history? I guess what I am saying is why are you complaining if you don't know what is in it. If I am missing something please let me know. Edit 1: I am not trying to defend it I want to know why people are complaining. Edit 2: I just realised it is way more expensive in other countries, I understand if you are mad about that.

The first two dlcs were $20 each and probably only together were they actually worth $20 (not to mention lack of story). Now ttk comes out at double the price, with reskinned enemies, only one new place to visit, no other new planets and no increase in vault space. In the grand scheme of things $40 isn't going to break the bank, but it's probably more than we should pay for a dlc that isn't large enough to be a legitimate expansion. Edit: there's also General frustration about bungies lack of support for the game. Where are the dedicated servers or why has the weapon balancing taken so long? Why does it take them so long to fix a glitch? (Crota unlimited health glitch still isn't fixed for example)

  • Why are you defending it if you don't know the content?

    • Because I will be paying $25 more than someone in the U.S. for the exact same content which I will be obtaining digitally.

      • Because it's almost double the price for the same content outside of the U.S. Or did you not know that?

        • Probably because HoW sounded so great on paper, but has turned out to be pretty boring.
Mostly, for me, because of Destiny's bad DLC history. Crota was awesome but that's it from that DLC. Going through levels backwards in HoW AND TDB and crappy exotic after crappy exotic. Dragons breath, NLB, dregs promise, queens bow (which is getting a nerf, so it didn't even last one DLC). And $40?! Wasn't the last DLC $35 and you got 2 for one?

        • Because their moms and dads are getting sick of paying for this game.
