Element is the same as subclass and shield strength is determined by the armor stat, caps at 15% of health as max strength

I like this idea, and would also just leave it tied to subclass. I think this would be particularly relevant to add to PVP - it would be a bring a really interesting set of tradeoffs to the game, and would help to further differentiate Destiny from just being "Space CoD". For PVP in particular we'd need a visual means of knowing what type of shield a guardian has - could probably adopt the "outline" method they use for shielded enemies in PVE, although I wonder if people will then complain that they don't like how their shield makes them look :)

I thought about it a lot. For PvP, it would be great. For PvE....probably not so much. It's really hard to get a grasp on how it would play out without actually seeing it in action to be honest. It is very restrictive. For instance, what if there's a mission where you absolutely need a Titan Bubble but all the enemies are Void? I mean, I see the benefits of 'trade offs' if you want to go that route, but you could get yourself into almost forced gameplay designs that can be almost a nuisance vs improving fun factor. Plus, there's already the trade off of being weaker vs another element and with improved enemy design, you could give them multiple weapons now with varying elements....I just don't see it working on the PvE end. Would limit gameplay design way too much.

So will Titans naturally have a little higher element shield?
