It's only the ricochet rounds that don't have damage falloff at any range.

No. It's all
-
hard light projectiles are not affected by damage falloff
None of the projectiles are affected, not just the ricochet ones.
-
OK reread it and it could be the base rounds. But even still, at an extended range you wouldn't be able to hit a consistent amount anyways so it's gonna be fine.
-
I've read it and to me I think they meant that the ricocheting projectiles are not affected. Because if they were they would be useless after just one ricochet. If it includes all projectiles that would be crazy and would mean it will have infinite range.
-
That's what I thought too, but when I reread it, it says that they want to make it feel more fantasy, and since it shoots beams of light I don't think the base rounds are affected either. But, even if that is the case, it's still a high row Ar and even at max stability would be hard to be effective with at any more than midrange so I'd be OK with it.
-
It actually shoot superheated polymer rounds. That's why they are white because they are white hot. They did say fantasy but I think bungies fantasy is for the gun to be absolutely lethal in confined spaces with multiple enemies around. Let's just see come September. I for one would love unlimited range ad this was a major deterrent for a lot of people who use it.
-
OK, never read the card for it. I liked mine better Haha.
-
The recoil is still going to be crazy. It will still be a close-range weapon unless you're a god at controlling that recoil.
-
Exactly. So that's fine with me. Makes sense since it shoots light beams Haha
-
Haha. Right? I wonder how Suros is going to be...
-
Lol idk with the new stability you probably could, if you put fitted stock on too to make it 100 stability. But we have to wait all the way to the TTK anyways it's bs
-
It would have 100 stability but the hidden stat "recoil" is still at 100 on this gun. Anyway I'm not too sure about projectile damage falloff. Maybe they didn't elaborate enough on the patch notes.
-
Even with max stability I can't see it being a quick kill at more than mid range, and you'd have to be really good at controlling the recoil as well. Did they actually say it wouldn't be integrated until Sept, cuz I was expecting it to be within a couple weeks.
-
Yea I agree I don't think it'll be quick to kill at more than mid range either, and I'm pretty sure, in the update it says at times we were thinking of releasing it before update 2.0.0 which is TTK and the planet destiny video says it won't e released until TTK either. It's complete bs
-
Hmm, I understood it as them wanting to do minor updates prior to the weapon rebalanced 2.0 but deciding to do it all at once. And I hoped that this major overhaul would be sooner rather than later. Could be argued either way with no real proof for either side. I hope I'm right tho lol as I'm sure most do. Would Def suck if we had to wait 2 months for this...
-
Yeah you're right. They decided to do all weapon balancing in one patch instead of bit by bit. As for when the patch is applied, they said September so we will have to wait 2 months.
