The only people that think it will wreck the game are the ones that have the rare weapons and don't want anyone else to have them.

  • True but maybe if the buyer matched a criteria set by the seller then it could work. Let me give you an example... (because you said rare weapons) " For Sale: GJALLARHORN for 30 Exotic Shards. Must have completed all end game activites at least three times each. " You see the seller can check the buyer's profile to see whether he meets criteria. SO IT CAN WORK. Theoretically....

  • The Ghorn isn't -blam!-ing rare it has the same drop rate as every other exotic ffs.

  • I wouldn't mind some trading. Multiples is what makes me feel that way. I now have 3 Gjallarhorns. I'd easily trade one for a Thunderlord.

  • I think buying/selling is better than actual TRADING simply because it would be tougher for noobs to buy cheap exotics. Since most newer players, lets say HoW players, probably already have at least one exotic. If TRADING was a thing, they could trade their e.g. Universal Remote for a freakin' GJALLARHORN. This is not a good thing. Actual TRADING means everyone would soon have the best weapons and the game would slowly die. We need a buy/sell system. The currency could be limited to a few criteria. Maybe BUNGIE THEMSELVES could set prices on the best weapons to make sure noobs can't get them too easily (sorry i don't mean to hate on the noobs but you know now the grind is REAL). Thoughts?

I can agree with that. Perhaps an option for players to trade in multiples to a vendor to get an item we've been wanting for as well. Like 2 Heavys for one. For instance I could trade 2 of my Gjallys to a vendor for a Thunderlord. Edit: I understand where you're coming from though. Player to player trading could break the game and defeat the purpose of loot.

  • you do know we are capped at 25k glimmer right? even a noob can farm that in a few days and buy a g-horn. and with a 25k glimmer cap there little reason to actually sell anything for 25k because you can only hold 25k at a time.
