Destiny was 60 dollars new, TTK is priced at 40. To me this implies that Bungie thinks it has 2/3s the value of the original game. Therefore I would like 2/3s the content, and then maybe I would consider it.
I need:
13-16 story missions
4 new strikes
1 raid
3 new subclasses 1 for each
2-3 new crucible match types
And a host of new weapons and gear.
As a side note:
I would also like to see private matches added
And clan management and chat moved into the game itself. If clash of clans can do it on a mobile app, Bungie ought to be able to figure it out. They could give out biweekly clan rewards for certain achievements and participation. That way our clans would feel more like real teams instead of loose groups of players.

Edited by ZHX1138: 6/27/2015 12:32:58 AMThat happens even with Call of Duty and all you do is play $40 dollars for a few maps. Those maps are not worth 2/3rds of the game even more so. On the other hand Bungie say's they are adding like a half a dozen maps already along with a about 3-4 new stikes about a dozen story missions and a new sub-class. That's way more then what COD gives for $40 bucks. I really don't see what the big deal is for the $40 buck version. Maybe the other stuff but not the $40 version.

I don't play Call of Duty for that very reason. I think the whole nickel and diming us stuff is lame. I don't care about shaders or emblems, I change them like a change my socks. I would just like some real value for my money. At 2/3s the cost, I would like 2/3s the content.

Completely different games, call of duty is all about multiplayer online. I could play that game for hundreds and hundreds of hours before it gets stale. The competitive multiplayer in cod blows the crucible out the water, that's why they can charge the prices they do for the map packs and they're well worth it because you play them over and over and over. Although I can agree $40 isn't much, £40 is.. And until they convert the currency it won't be worth it for anywhere outside the U.S.

Edited by ZHX1138: 6/27/2015 4:01:17 AMThose prices take time to localize. I mean they are charging 44 for the disc copy. So the download is obviously going to get a discount as it's not even available for pre-order there yet. Their pages all say: *MSRP - See retailers for exact prices https://www.destinythegame.com/taken-king/wheretobuy?bundle=digital http://www.amazon.co.uk/Destiny-The-Taken-King-PS4/dp/B00ZF6ZUK4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1435377208&sr=8-1&keywords=destiny+the+taken+king

The Amazon link you sent me is actually £46 for the legendary edition which is about $72. Pretty sure the legendary edition listed on Bungies website is only $59.99 so again, they've added on a further $12 for us. Still, that's better than the $40 £40 which is obviously a money scam. But I'll keep my eyes open to see if PSN gets a discount. I won't get my hopes up though.

Edited by ZHX1138: 6/27/2015 3:47:19 AMDestiny is all about Multiplayer online to me (they complete reverse if you're opinion.) games like COD don't have enough variety for me to enjoy them like Destiny. But yeah I'm sure Euros cost is sort of bad but they don't even convert prices over even for other Game in that country isn't every game there like 60 Euros?
