Start at around 5 minutes in, confirmed for Phobos. Also, you can't see the entirety of the moon in any place on Mars, the fist few are Phobos on a different angle because you are in a different area.

The point is, It's TOO LARGE to be Phobos and WAY too close. That would be the equivalent of our own moon being about 5-10Km from the surface of Earth.

The answer is that the Cabal moved the orbit closer in order to assault the planet. When you observe something farther away, it is smaller. When that thing gets closer it becomes larger. When Phobos was in it's original orbit, it would have been smaller and farther away, but because it was moved closer it is now larger when observed.

Do you have any concept of how big it is? Correction: How SMALL it is? Our moon is over 3474 Km in diameter. To give you a size comparison for Mars to Phobos: http://theplanets.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/phobos-size.jpg Phobos around the 27 Km range, to be that large in the sky, would be approximately the same distance of 25Km or less above the surface. This is not sustainable as a aerosynch orbit. The orbital altitude required to maintain an areosynchonous orbit is approximately 17,000 kilometres (11,000 mi). Would you like the math? I've got it if you need it. The point being - if this is Phobos, whoever inserted it and Deimos into aerosynch above the city, neither scaled it properly, nor took into account the requirements needed to keep them there as they would have crashed into the surface long ago. So, if these are in Aerosynch orbit, these 2 moons are MUCH larger than either Phobos or Deimos in order to be present in the sky

Listen, Bungie has gone on record to say that it is Phobos. There is a reason in the lore that it is as close as it is in game. I do in fact, understand where you are coming from. The argument you have presented works in reality, but, as with a video game, the designer took some artistic license and made it larger. Your just going to have to accept that.
