Have you decided what base marker, or at least firing mechanism, you are going to use? Are you planning to run a remote line to supply air, or are you trying to integrate that into the body of the marker? Are you going to have a hopper on it, or are you trying to utilize an internal magazine? You'll need to answer these questions in order to really get this project off the ground. Paintball marker modifications are fun, and there are lots of great examples on pbnation and the McCarter Brown forums, but you need to have a good working knowledge of the marker you are modifying in order to have any chance at success.

  • I had a Tippmann A5 laying around and that's what gave me the idea. I understand that it isn't the best marker to mod for my specific project. ( a TIPX or anything mag-fed without a cocker mechanism would be better. ) I was planning, for the first version at least, to simply run a remote line to my tank. but i'm thinking of integrating it in the lower part of the gun later. for the feeding mechanism, as i mentioned a mag-fed would be my best option but for the first version i'll probably use the hopper mechanism from the A5. right now i'm more about actually replicating the Pocket Infinity and adding as many details as i can but when my first concept is done, i'll probably go with another marker.
