I have a great idea for the new raid, or at least the middle to the end part. Its a random selection out of 3 bosses, a Servitor, a Priest, or a Devil Walker, plus a random selection of low intellect, discipline, or strength. It would be randomly generated. One member of the group would be chosen and separated with a relic or damage or health increase or something, to fight off a huge wave on enemies by themeselves, taking out the bosses shield for 30 secs, letting everyone but the person who fought the wave by themeselves attack. After every wave, its random whose chosen next. The people who aren't chose have to dodge a boss and enemies while in an open colosseum with little to no cover. When the boss is defeated, every guardian must melee their own path out for each one has been teleported to their own labyrinth. On their way, they must pick up an item to escape. When all 6 guardians escape with their item, they can enter the final room with the Fallen Warlord. The guardians craft a new relic with their items, their are multiple relics that can be crafted, a sword, a shield, and a sling shot. When one relic is active it does it part to the boss doing 1/4 hp and then it despawns(others an help attack to and their will be enemies) and then back to labyrinth, every relic is made leaving boss with 25% hp left. Now the guardians must chose 3 of themeselves to enter the room to fight the boss, the other 3 dying. Each survivor gets a relic and they take down the boss

  • Great idea, it does sound very hard and if a player dies everyone would rage at that player

  • @YouthfulGrub010 Seems like a great idea. Unfortunately, that won't happen. In raids, Bungie focuses more so on unique things like oracles, relics, and surviving with no health regen. Think about any raid boss battle truly focused on killing anything other than the boss, or something that is required to kill to slay the boss. I also think that it would be a poor decision for Bungie to make a raid so dependent on one player away from the group. Bungie's goal is to have a team effort like rockets on Crota, or Destroying oracles together. The team Swordbearer in Crota is a little bit away from the group, but it is still a team effort to make Crota kneel. The main flaw in your raid is that if one player dies, the whole team is disappointed in this player. Also there are much too many bosses in your plan. I don't mean to defuse your idea, but I just want everyone to know what to expect in The House Of Wolves raid. (AKA The Arena)

  • I understand, I just wanted to brainstorm and spitball a little. I totally agree with you but I just hope this new raid is just as cool as the Vault of Glass and has new mechanics as the Crotas End showed. Plus I hope it has something to involve your sparrow or spaceship.

  • Seems complicated on paper, but even VoG sounds complicated when someone explains it.
