DeeJ posts getting weird

No, seriously. Shit's getting weird. Let's break down this latest News piece, the Mr. Fruit interview: 1) First of all... why did they choose Mr. Fruit? For the record, I enjoy the guy's vids, I think he's got a great sense of humor and genuine delivery (or at least he's good enough that it seems genuine, which amounts to the same thing imo). But Bungie had to know that half the community hates Youtubers like this guy, the same way that plenty of people hate PewDiePie or the dozens of others like him. The humor and delivery is, by the simple fact of its nature, guaranteed to be a polarizing influence on the community at large. For every 2-3 people who love guys like Mr Fruit, you'll find 2 who've never heard of him, 1 who passionately hates the guy just because they want attention, and 2 who have a different taste in humor (all statistics are SWAGs, ofc). 2) DeeJ asks, "How have the trigger-happy Guardians form [sic] the Tower responded to your antics?" Um, what? I work for a small NGO, and I know we'd never allow a spelling error on our online content. With a $500 million budget, and market power our marketing department would cream themselves over, why the hell am I seeing spelling errors? SMH is not enough to express... 3) DeeJ closes out the interview with this: "We’ll certainly take that into account the next time we have a raging internal debate about how we invest our time and passion into the next Bungie games that we hope you’ll play – and talk about." SOMEONE UNPACK THIS FOR ME PLZ KTHX. No, but seriously, I had to reread this line a few times, because I honestly couldn't (and still can't) tell if this is serious, or some sort of joke, or a dig at the community? I truly don't know what to make of this. Just interested to hear what others thought after reading the latest Community Focus. Please try to keep replies civil and on-topic, although that's probably asking too much, for some of you :3

 • Personally I would prefer that Bungie communicates with the community without any spelling or grammar errors. It's hard to take someone serious when they can't spell correctly. And it drives me crazy. From my own opinion, I would appreciate an amount of seriousness from DeeJ. It's fun to listen to him discuss matters and some of his comments are great, but I'm always waiting for him to answer the question. In a lot of his comments that I've read he doesn't answer the question and that renders what he's said unnecessary.
