But imagine if an entire raid team shot all 7-8 dragons in one volley. That's 126- 192 solar flares (I did the math: 3-4 SoFlas*6 players*7-8 rockets). The consoles processing power probably couldn't handle it and it'd overload and freeze/lag bad.
And as an added bonus to your idea, this is what else is happening at the same time: everything happening around you:
rockets firing (vector/direction smoke pixels), explosion (explosion pixels and sound), environmental sounds, npc spawning, npc sounds, player movement and sounds, damage counter, npc weapons firing (more pixels and sound), npc movement, background/environment/air (whatever is floating around the landscapes "air") movement, lighting effect changes, and all physical properties within the game.
Your idea isn't bad, but it's just not good either. It'd be best if it was a self-made programmed/weapon mod like a Steam Workshop add-on.

If bungie didnt care so much about the poverty consoles they could do it

Edited by putridcarnage: 3/17/2015 3:17:25 AMSolar flares dont last that long and the fire speed with dragons breath is slower than warlocks with radiance. At best you could get 3 on the ground before the others dissapear, which is 54. If a team of 6 warlocks spamming solar flares with radiance doesnt kill the processor (36 flares if timed right), clusters of dragons breaths wouldnt either.

I hadn't considered the processing required to have such a thing... My main point in this is to try an get the Dragon's Breath to have A bigger surface area and DoT. If they could just do that I'd be happy.
