Okay, so I have received two pulse rifle in the past couple of days that have pretty decent perks, But I don't really know which one to keep, I'd rather keep one mainly to upgrade and use in Crucible.
Here are the options:
Coiled Hiss 1919
Mag: 30
High RoF, Decent Impact, Fast Reload
Perks:
Full Auto
Hammer Forged; Fitted Magwell; Fitted Stock
Reactive Reload
OR
Time On Target
Mag: 21
High RoF, Decent Impact, High Stability, Fast Reload
Perks:
Secret Round
Hammer Forged; Speed Reload; Perfect Balance
Third Eye
Thanks for reading.
(1 Month later) I dismantled them both.

2 RepliesJust my opinion, I hated time on target. I got it from a vanguard package, played a strike with it, and instantly deleted it. Didn't like it at all

2 RepliesEdited by Ginsu Solo: 3/8/2015 9:33:28 PMFor Crucible I'd dump them both for the Strangers Rifle. For IB I'd go with Coiled Hiss of those two...not that that's a ringing endorsement. Shoot for the Bad Juju quest line.

The coiled hiss has the better perk rolls out of the 2 you mentioned, so i would go with that. Since they are both high RoF, you don't need both. It's better to have one high RoF and one high impact rifle, so you are more prepared for certain maps. I have the oversoul edict for the smaller maps, to compete with the high RoF autos, and three little words for longer range engagaments, since it's only a 2 burst kill.

Edited by Void: 3/7/2015 5:08:50 PMI'd go with the time on target. Secret round is a great perk for pulse rifles, despite what its description might imply. What it actually does is when you hit all 3 shots, it only takes 2 instead of 3 away from your magazine. This allows for a couple extra shots. It also has better perks to choose from.

2 RepliesPersonally, I'd go with the Time On Target because I'm a sucker for the Third Eye perk. However, I'd recommend using both of them until they are maxed out on EXP and then make your decision. This way you will garner some Ascendant Energy when you disassemble the one you don't want.
