14 RepliesEdited by Gulf Coast Girl: 3/6/2015 9:13:34 PMI'm one who DESPISES cheating.... but I don't consider this a cheat. My reasons are: 1. You aren't despawning enemies so you still have to do the fight. 2. You aren't going outside of playable bounds or inside a wall 3. Definitely can fail, both by missing the bridge and by enemy fire or melee 4. You are using legit character abilities AND killing the sword knight to cross 5. It's no different than if you have a full team and a teammate gets chased off the upper/lower plate so the center plate person has to leave that plate to prevent totem annihilation and the bridge starts deconstructing. If you had a player just ready to run you would expect them to jump/swing over the part where the bridge had come down already. In my mind... if I had a full fireteam of 6 players and only 2 of us were across the bridge to the Ogre side.... and only one person was alive on the starting side (so 3 players alive, 3 dead/no revive). I would MUCH rather have the player on the starting side blink/jump across to help do the fight than jump up high to despawn enemies and snipe. At least that player is attempting to get to the objective side and participate in the fight. Just my opinion.... I like the video and may try it to keep in my bag of tricks for when the team is failing and a wipe is imminent...

You could prove that old saying wrong "try dodging gun shells noob" with blink

1 ReplyDefiantly interesting

7 RepliesI never use blink but how did you blink 3 times without touching the ground?
-
Good stuff.

2 RepliesSounds like the supposed non cheese solo strategy is still a cheese. If sword dancing away from crota as a means of self defense isnt cheesing than jumping across a bridge formed or not sword dancing isnt a cheese. Running back and forth on the plate is just as cheesey as sword dancing. Duh.

Thank you. So much easier as a hunter to do this than to hump the fall above one of the two rock outcroppings.

1 ReplyVery nice, I was able to do it but to me triple jump is the way to go tho this is way easier to do. Quick question, Anyone know which of the stats determine the cool down length in between each blink jump?

Smellyanime is fückin gay - old
-
1 ReplyNot sure if you are the one that did this or just found the video but I would like to know other stats I'm guessing maxed agility probably was the key
-
Nice. I use gunslinger and triple jump to land in the rocks in the left side. Always come up just barely short of the bridge. Titan is the only one I can get on the other side of the bridge with.
-
Haha. Very nicely done
-
Titan's can do the same, from the same spot too
-
2 RepliesOh my god I gotta try that sh#t. And just for giggles I'm gonna come back across to make my team bitch at me. Lmao!
-
How is this even possible I play on my hunter and the only reason the want me is for the sword on crota
-
2 RepliesI've done it with triple jump. The key is distance not height. Also you can scale the rocks on the left of the bridge if you can't make it the normal way.

2 RepliesAt this point in time it looks like the only way to stop cheesing is to disable jumping in the raid. Personally I think its cool to see gamers keep finding alternative ways to beat the raid, show ingenuity and keeps devs on their toes.

4 RepliesSo can warlocks do this?
-
That......was awesome
-
Hah. Very cool.
-
Looks like it's sketchy. Probably takes five tries just to make it
-
So are you blinking through the invisible wall?
