While it's a cool idea, I have to disagree with this on the grounds that this isn't a stealth game. I mean I love Metal Gear Solid, but this isn't MGS.

There are a couple of stealth features already built into Destiny, that any character class can utilise. Firstly, if a minion of the darkness does not see you, you can sneak right up behind them, and they are none the wiser. Also, it is possible to distract minions, by using cover to flank around them. On several occasions I have snuck behind a rock, reappearing around the other side, only to see minions looking where I had disappeared to.

True. I've done this as well. I just don't think it's very viable in the current way the game is played unless they added a suppressor perk. Then I could see it.

I dunno I think it'd fit into the game pretty well. Obviously the stealth wouldn't be super hardcore like MGS or SplinterCell, but it could be a cool new aspect of the game.

But Hunters would automatically dominate it just because of invisibility. I like the idea, but just don't see the practicality of it is all.

Ah sure hunters have invisibility, but Titans have shoulder charge to quickly take down a guard with its back turned, and warlocks have scorch to disintegrate enemies without leaving behind evidence, I'm sure I could list a few more too.
