>>>> IF YOU ARE STILL ENCOUNTERING ISSUES WITH YOUR GAMERTAG NOT BEING DETECTED BY OUR SITE, POST HERE<<<
RESOLUTION:
Thank you to everyone who reported their issues. We've been doing a lot of data gathering surrounding this issue, and your input has been incredibly valuable. So valuable, in fact, that we have found a cause for the problem and are preparing to deploy a fix so your gamertag information shows up on your Bungie.net profile.
Many of you will find that your Xbox Live gamertags are now appearing on your profiles, and you can access your Destiny account information; you've likely been a part of our science experiments if that's the case. If you still can't see your gamertag and Destiny info by the end of the week, the most likely cause is that you are not on the correct Microsoft account that has your Xbox Live information.
If your gamertag info is still not showing, you can troubleshoot the status of your Microsoft and Xbox Live info here.
You will hopefully find that you indeed used a different Microsoft Account. If that is the case, create a new Bungie.net profile with the correct account. If it is not the case, we have seen issues where something in Microsoft's system is not properly reporting your gamertag to Bungie. In this case, Microsoft support has been able to work with customers to resolve this issue.
This thread's purpose is for me to gather information in order to diagnose what is wrong. This thread is not about whether your character shows up as just a silhouette. That is a WebGL problem on your browser or a hardware issue with your mobile device. Feel free to make a new thread about it under #Help and #mobileissues. Be sure to include your device platform, OS, OS version, and app version (you can find it under the about tab).
Because there's many of you and one of me, I won't be able to reply much. Please don't be mad.
Reminder: As some people have learned the hard way, posting offtopic or inflammatory posts will result in your ungraceful exit from the thread.

1: No 2: Yes 3: Yes 4: yes I have checked numerous times that this is the right microsoft account linked to my gamertag Finalcashew. I also found it funny that the customer service I dealt with on their end stated that the issue is not on their end but likely on yours. Do large companies always do this to each other? (sidenote :/ ) 5: My gamertag was created on xbox 360 but I now own an Xbox one. The gamertag is now used only on the xbox one and destiny has only been played on the xbox one. Thanks for any help in advance I know it's not your intentions!

Account still not linked. Please help.

Edited by SleCooperXYZ: 3/4/2015 4:36:23 AMJust a dumb question, HOW DO I SIGN OUT OF THE BUNGIE.NET ACCOUNT!? I cant find it anywhere. It also says i need to download content or something (on the app), and it starts, and immediately says there's an error downloading content. I know its the correct XBL/Microsoft account bcuz it automatically loads my gamertag without me changing the B.Net tag

Ok so i couldn't see any of my characters and now i don't have two of my characters as in they are absolutely deleted anybody else having this problem? Please help i am super upset! #help

3 RepliesI really want to avoid ninja justice but, without having read the code of conduct, I have to assume that all these feelings I am having toward bungie must be violations thereof. At this point the company really is far too large not to have an operational support line! But I digress. I am having an insanely difficult time making my bungie account show the copious amounts of time I have spent on Destiny. What is more is that I can not join the clan that my brother created, or at least, joining said clan at this point would do me little or no good. My account, much like everyone else on this thread, says that I have never played the game. I have very little faith in these online forums but I would love to be shown how wrong I am. If there is anyone reading this please help!
