Thank you to everyone who reported their issues. We've been doing a lot of data gathering surrounding this issue, and your input has been incredibly valuable. So valuable, in fact, that we have found a cause for the problem and are preparing to deploy a fix so your gamertag information shows up on your Bungie.net profile.
Many of you will find that your Xbox Live gamertags are now appearing on your profiles, and you can access your Destiny account information; you've likely been a part of our science experiments if that's the case. If you still can't see your gamertag and Destiny info by the end of the week, the most likely cause is that you are not on the correct Microsoft account that has your Xbox Live information.
If your gamertag info is still not showing, you can troubleshoot the status of your Microsoft and Xbox Live info [url=http://support.xbox.com/en-US/my-account/microsoft-account/forgot-microsoft-account-solution]here[/url].
You will hopefully find that you indeed used a different Microsoft Account. If that is the case, create a new Bungie.net profile with the correct account. If it is not the case, we have seen issues where something in Microsoft's system is not properly reporting your gamertag to Bungie. In this case, Microsoft support has been able to work with customers to resolve this issue.

That is a [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12285]WebGL problem on your browser[/url] or a hardware issue with your mobile device. Feel free to make a[b] new thread[/b] about it under #Help and #mobileissues. Be sure to include your device platform, OS, OS version, and app version (you can find it under the about tab).

I've had my account linked for a couple months and it worked just fine. (Xbox 360). Since the app update it can't seem to connect and show me my friends list. I can still use the vault features but can't use the friends list. Also my nephew created and linked and account and it's almost like it can't reach Xbox live to get the initial info and thus won't show his characters. Seems like a lot of Xbox 360 users are having this issue.

My account will not link to my gamertag either... MY GT is Grendel Dark on XBox 360. No this has not worked, this is my first time to create an account, this is the correct email account I used for my Microsoft Account. How can I link my character stats to your website?

I too am experiencing this issue; word for word as "Panda Bbear" describes. I have followed all the links deleted, recreated etc. and the problem persists. I can find my gamertag using the find your legend on the home page but it still doesn't appear in my account or on the app.

And the first time I logged into the Bungie.net account, it was showing my old gamertag. Still though, I cannot see any of my characters after trying many different things. I have tried validating my bungie email (which I was able to do) Tried to switch what bungie profile was linked to my microsoft account (was unable to do) I kinda am lost for options. Any help would be awesome. I'm just trying to be able to use the Destiny app so that I can use the new features! Edit: made my bugie unique identifier exactly the same as my gamer tag. App worked like a charm

My xbox live account isn't showing any of my characters on pc or the app. My Bungie account may have been created with my gmail address but I can no longer access it to see regardless. Not sure what to do...

Have checked that it is the correct account I'm signing in with. I can also search and find my Xbox gamer tag. Same problem as Valddo

It shows my gamertag and unique id but says there is an error downloading content and tap to try again. Does'nt do anything when i do that. Even tried signing out and in again and completely shutting down the app. No Joy Just signed out completely wiped the app off my phone and reinstalled it.Seems to be working now if a bit slowly

All I see is "CLASSIFIED" over everything, such as my names, the name of my gear and inventory. I can still see the counts of the inventory items such as materials, but no names. I can see everything normally on the website 1. Yes, I have been using the app for months successfully 2. No, I sign in daily. 3. I read through the whole article. I have my account linked fine, and have been using it on the web without issue. It is just the app. 4. Yes I am on the correct Microsoft account and I have not I tried pulling the battery on my phone. Sign out, sign in. No luck Edit: Ok I fixed this by clearing the cache and saved date inside the applications section of settings.

I have an xbox 360 and am a lvl 32 but when I try to sign in or create a new account with bungie it says I have never played the game. I would like to use the vault feature but can't tell it recognizes im a player.

I'm absolutely certain the Microsoft account I have linked to this bungie account is the same one linked to my gamertag and still cannot view my guardians from the app.

Same here my XBL is linked but it tells me to either buy destiny on desktop or create a character in the iOS app. :(

1 ReplyWorks fine on the app for me. Itouch 5 with the latest app and iOS updates. Nothing but a silhouette if I try to access the legend page from Safari on my itouch though.

1 ReplySo I signed in with my email and password. But the gamer tag it's showing is one that I used a few years ago. My gamer tag now is Jaco Zero. But as you can see, it's showing something different. It won't let me access anything on the app. It keeps saying that my profile has no characters on destiny.
