[FIX DEPLOYED] Are you not able to see your Xbox characters on the site or app? Tell me about it here.

We've been doing a lot of data gathering surrounding this issue, and your input has been incredibly valuable. So valuable, in fact, that we have found a cause for the problem and are preparing to deploy a fix so your gamertag information shows up on your Bungie.net profile. Many of you will find that your Xbox Live gamertags are now appearing on your profiles, and you can access your Destiny account information; you've likely been a part of our science experiments if that's the case. If you still can't see your gamertag and Destiny info by the end of the week, the most likely cause is that you are not on the correct Microsoft account that has your Xbox Live information. If your gamertag info is still not showing, you can troubleshoot the status of your Microsoft and Xbox Live info [url=http://support.xbox.com/en-US/my-account/microsoft-account/forgot-microsoft-account-solution]here[/url]. You will hopefully find that you indeed used a different Microsoft Account. If that is the case, create a new Bungie.net profile with the correct account. If it is not the case, we have seen issues where something in Microsoft's system is not properly reporting your gamertag to Bungie. In this case, Microsoft support has been able to work with customers to resolve this issue. [u]This thread's purpose is for me to gather information in order to diagnose what is wrong. [/u] This thread is not about whether your character shows up as just a silhouette. That is a [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12285]WebGL problem on your browser[/url] or a hardware issue with your mobile device. Feel free to make a[b] new thread[/b] about it under #Help and #mobileissues. Be sure to include your device platform, OS, OS version, and app version (you can find it under the about tab). Because there's many of you and one of me, I won't be able to reply much. Please don't be mad.     1. No, first account 2. Yes 3. Yes 4. Yes 5. XBOne Likewise I can search my gamertag and find my characters. Edit: signing out and signing back in seems to have sorted it for my app now. Hope everyone else benefit from this.

  • Just wanted to let you know i was having the same issuse sence i created my account 2 days ago. it seems to have been corrected for me. Thanks for the help guys. Enjoying the app very much so far :)

    So I've had this Bungie account since the Halo days and already had my GT linked with it. Have had the same GT for the same amount of time and have been playing Destiny on it via X360 for the last 2 weeks. First time logging onto the account since starting Destiny and is not showing anything even though it says it is linked via the Settings. I have already gone through the help article and verified is the correct Xbox Live account by logging in with the same account info on Xbox.com. I've only been playing Destiny via this GT on the X360. Would like this fixed since it's otherwise impairing my ability to enjoy this game. I play solo and I would like to meet more people to play with and I can't even join a clan with this issue going on so it's extremely hard to know anybody on this game otherwise. It's starting to get really boring playing solo and might not be playing much if this issue keeps up.

  • 1. No - Just set it up on Sunday 2. Yes 3. Yes 4. Yes 5. Xbox One When I signed in it told me that no gamertags were associated with that account. There was a link that said click here for help, but all that did was reload the same page. I went to xbox live and there was my gamertag with destiny achievements etc. I'm just glad that I'm not special. I don't like being the special one that always finds the bugs that have "never" been seen before. Did you borrow your hat from Burt Reynolds?

      • 1) yes 2) no 3) yes 4) yes 5) 360 I've been able to see my friend list on the app until recently. I don't remember 100%, but it possibly could of been broken around the last update. I've signed out/in on the app several times using my xbox live login. Still having problems communicating with live services.

              I have destiny since leaving the game and link my account Microsoft since October / November last year, this started since last update to the product because before she was going great. 1. No. 2. Yes. 3. Review all written, I did everything you said and nothing that I worked. 4. I had to change the password, hotmail link my gamertag to another and still see nothing worked. 5. Both Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

                  Edit: I fixed it by linking my unused psn ID, signing in with those credentials, then unlinking my microsoft account. I then created a new bungie account using my microsoft account. I tried this same thing on saturday without any results but it seems to be working today.

                • Just fixed this for me. I suggest everyone unlinks from there Microsoft account on their current profile and signs out. After that click on "Join Up" and create an account through your Microsoft account that you just unlinked, I also used a different email (I don't know if this matters). When you create your account it will just return to your old account as if you just linked your gamertag. And now you should be able to use your legend and so on! Let the forums know if this worked for you. Hopefully it does!

                  • My account is linked and verified, however my guardian is not appearing on the mobile app or website. Everything went perfectly when linking but I don't know what could have gone wrong. I'm doing the whole 24 hour wait, since it's all I can do.

                  • Same issue as the others verified my Xbox account. Unlinked relinked still my charecters are not loaded and I'm being redirected to purchase the game. Fyi mine is a digital copy purchase on 360 and reinstalled on xbox1

                    1. No, just logged into Bungie.net for the first time today (downloaded the app as well). 2. Yes 3. Yes I have, and tried a lot of the different suggestions before I even looked for a help post. 4. Yes, I even changed it on purpose because the previous alias was a gmail account. 5. Xbox 360. Further comment: My gamertag is "Irysh Redd" and if you search it on the app or website you can view my profile and see that I have a level 20 Hunter, a level 2 Titan, and a level 2 Warlock. But for some reason when I sign in with the appropriate email it doesn't connect. Is this what you are taking about in regards to Microsoft not reporting the gamertags properly?
