The next raid will be "The Arena" with damage modifiers it seems. What kinds of traps do you think we'll be coming across to complete the raid? I was really hoping for an opportunity for us to use vehicles, like just before the final boss the level we end up on starts falling apart so people summon their sparrows and ride to safety. What do you think?

1 ReplyThere needs to be a trial of light. The fireteam gets separated individually and have to go through a challenge specific to their class. warlocks will have to either: -Kill their way to get out of the challenge -Go through a puzzle of sorts like having your ghost activate runes in a specific order Hunters will have to either -Sneak through a maze of insta kill enemies -Take down multiple targets efficiently before the challenge kills you (targets are enemies that stand still and don't attack) Titans will have to either -Destroy a bullet sponge totem/oracle type thing -destroy wave after wave of enemies until you fight a very spongy major #Randal If the person going through their trial fails then it wipes the whole team. Team mates can spectate through a window of sorts and help out like that but cannot provide any other type of support. Guardians go one by one. I think this would be a good idea

Edited by XMalakhX: 2/13/2015 6:44:50 AMI was thinking something along the lines of an actual labyrinth... With randomly generated walls so it's different every time. Basically you and your fireteam have to work your way through it while defeating waves of enemies and the catch is that there are disappearing tiles in the floor , and you can have sections where the side walls will tighten up and expand out. Making some enemies encounters more intense etc etc. So basically what will happen is that you'll eventually see a colored tile on the floor. You'll have to hold down three of the same color tiles you find randomly throughout the maze. This will cause the team to seperate and shrink as time goes on, making it that much harder. The person or persons left behind will face enemies that come through specific doorways built into the walls. Another would be like a massive vertical climb that would utilize something like the fan that exists in the tower. Fireteam members must activate switches to turn on fans in order to climb. Enemies shoot at you from ledges far away. I would make a visible delay switch so every team member can move along. Glowing red light slowly turns green when the fan activates. maybe a 3 second timer or so. Ketch ships randomly fly by to also impede progress. In the end you'll launch yourself onto the deck of a ketch and make your way inside. There will be your midboss (templar, deathsinger, whatever). I could come up with some fun ideas I think...

2 RepliesIt really needs something different like a sparrow chase with an army of pikes tailing you the whole way through some sort of canyon
