Just played a clan named "forget the rest" in control. Beat them once and then the next match they started using a popular heavy ammo exploit.
The way this works is that the player can use a certain scout rifle with the perk, "shoot to loot." Basically, you can continously shoot any type of ammo until it dissapears. This can also be used in PvP and PvE to max out your heavy ammo with just one heavy drop.
These guys were using this exploit. Feel free to check my recent match at fire base delphi. We had the lead and everything went to shit when these guys started using this heavy ammo exploit. I saved the video clip of the match and you can see the top two guys on their team were using seemingly infinite truth rockets.
How do they do it? They stand next to a heavy ammo crate and let it drop on the ground. Then the player shoots the heavy ammo drop with the scout rifle to get atleast 6 rockets.
Do not say this is not an exploit. I dont want to hear that bullshit, "its a game mechanic." It isnt meant to be used that way and you can see with the ways Bungie has patched certain cheeses. These guys are an embarrassment lol, smh.
Bump to get this fixed, atleast in PvP, please. :)
