Help and Support

Destiny Player Support:

We are currently investigating reports of an issue where the in-game Roster Tab does not populate when attempting to view players in the “Friends” or “Game” columns. Our initial investigation has shown that players who have set their console account privacy settings to appear offline are witnessing these issues more often. If you find your account in this state, please do the following:
  • Ensure your console account privacy settings are set to “Appear Online”
  • Clear your console’s cache
  • Fully close and re-open the Destiny application
Please Note: This issue may appear when PlayStation Network or Xbox Live services are undergoing maintenance. While these troubleshooting steps sometimes resolve the issue when caused by privacy settings, we are actively investigating with console manufacturers. Make sure to follow @BungieHelp for future updates concerning our investigations.

Recruitment Forum FAQ
With the latest Bungie.net update, the Recruitment forums have been expanded to better allow players to recruit Fireteam members for activities in Destiny. When creating a topic in Recruitment, players will be presented with the built-in "Recruit Fireteam" option. When selected, "Recruit Fireteam" allows the author to fill out pre-determined criteria for Platform, Activity, and Number of Players Needed. Optional selections for Guide Options, Fireteam Tone, Intensity, and Mic Requirements may also be set, but are not needed to create a topic.

Deleted Item and Character Policy
The choices players make in Destiny are often permanent. Please be careful when performing any manual removal actions.

Please note: Exotic Weapons/Armor, Emblems, Shaders, Ships, Sparrows, Emotes, and Quests that have been dismantled after update 2.0 was released may be re-acquired from their respective Collections.  Re-acquiring items from some Collections may have an in-game cost associated with them.
