Gameplay Capture Artist

Lead Assistant Editor

Bungie’s video production team creates compelling content intended to capture the heart and soul of our kick ass development team. We’re looking for an experienced and technical lead assistant video editor to join the team.

The Lead Assistant Editor will work with Producers, Post Supervisor and Editors to prep projects for post-production, which will include, but not limited to: coordinating game capture, syncing audio and video, overcutting replacement shots into edits, logging and organizing, editing selects reels of footage, encoding drafts and deliverables, as well as archiving projects and other day-to-day video production related tasks. The Lead Assistant Editor would also be responsible for some rough-cut editing as the position progressed. The candidate will be expected to have flexibility to work different shifts, including after-hours, weekends and some holidays.

Lead Writer

Bungie seeks a storyteller who can infuse the world of Destiny with new ways to inspire players to continue their adventure, and provide them with a rich, accessible and compelling narrative content. 
 
The Lead Writer is responsible for developing and overseeing all written content for a specific project set in the Destiny universe. This position will collaborate with the Fiction Creative Lead to identify and fully utilize prime opportunities within established narrative goals to deliver the fiction necessary to enrich the Destiny experience.
 
Success as Lead Writer will rely on close collaboration with the leads from other content teams to establish and/or maintain technical and aesthetic guidelines, while driving the fiction and writing tasks through the full production cycle – from preproduction through completion.

Narrative Designer

Systems Design Team (SDT) Development Lead:
  • Hold the team accountable for defining their scope and vision for the work ahead
  • Ensure the team has the right structure and talent for success
    • Define team roles and project(s) on which they're working
    • Empower people to do their best work
    • Determine headcounts and budgets with the Business Leadership Team
  • Ensure each team is working well with other groups to deliver on their goals
    • Make sure the Sandbox, Combatants, UI and Investment leads are working well together and are invested in solving each other’s concerns
    • Hold the Systems Design Director accountable for a shared vision and execution between the SDT and the Creative Leads from other areas.
    • Solve problems, remove roadblocks, and drive change where necessary
  • Collaborate with Production to oversee the team efforts throughout all phases of production
    • Build a roadmap for Systems Design execution and innovation over multiple releases
    • Hold production accountable to build achievable schedules
    • Manage the team to deliver on agreed workflow and schedules
    • Define team priorities informed by the leads
  • Ensure proper risk management for the System Design Team on Destiny and investigate studio wide mitigation plans
  • Work with the team to develop and maintain studio facing communication to clearly articulate the Systems Design Teams goals
  • Champion the team. Be a positive inspiration to increase the quality of our games, team morale and the craftsmanship with which we execute
  • Manage, develop and provide mentorship for team members
    • Set clear objectives and goals for direct reports
    • Drive a fair evaluation for performance reviews for each member the team

Combatant Designer

Automation SDET

Bungie is looking for a test professional who believes there is nothing better than when a computer is able to find critical bugs before a human has even booted up the build for the first time.  They should be passionate about how automation can not only save time, but allow a large test team to be more selective in the areas they focus their time on instead of re-visiting the same areas again and again.  They should also want to push the limits of how we can scale – at Bungie we have many builds that are being produced 24/7 and it’s required that we get automated coverage on all of them – how do we accomplish this without slowing the studio down as a whole?

  • Work with Test Leads to understand and deliver the automated test coverage required in their area(s)
