Those are good ideas and it's a good thing that onslaught and the weapon distribution has been evolving over time. Whatever they do it probably shouldn't become overly advantageous to not play Onslaught. So that might need to be buffed in some way too. Randomness has a burnout feature attached to it where if you play the game a lot you can start to feel like it's unfair almost no matter what. Also, when there's zero actual competitiveness the game is relying on compulsion while also judging people for being compulsive. Hidden shifting alternative competitivenesses don't count. And the proof of that is the resentfulness that a lot of people start to feel with almost every aspect of the casino, even when they started out liking something.
