What’s your favorite of YOUR OWN usernames?
If you’re like me and you have multiple usernames across many platforms, well, you’re like me, I guess.
But I have a question for you:
Of all the usernames you have/had, what is your favorite?

1 ReplyWhat I am now. I respond even IRL to Hook with some of the long time gaming buddies. I’ve had this name since I made my first XBL account on the 360 during MW2’s hay day. Back then you had to pick a name when you made the account so my mom helped me with this one. Everyone thinks it’s fish related because I’m the fish facts guy, but it’s actually towing related. Family business growing up was impounds/repossession and if a car is “On the hook” it means we are making money.

1 ReplyThen I am not like you and you're not like me. I keep my name the same no matter what type of platform it is. I have always been called 'Swat', 'Hi Im Swat' or 'Hey Im Swat'. The name 'Swat' comes from an old clan I used to be part of in Battlefield: Modern Combat 2 (PS2).

Then I am not like you. I keep my name the same depending on what type of platform it is. It's either my actual name, or it's what you see here. I have no desire to complicate things by having multiple identities. It seems extremely exhausting and unnecessary to me to do other wise. All my friends from the clan I joined here in '08 know my real name, but still to this day we all identify each other by our gamertags on whatever platform we have connections to each other on. When my GT is used on sites where my actual name is present, my other non gaming friends are confused. So that leads to the question - Are [i]they[/i] really my friends? Hmmmmmmmmmmm

I’ve had “The First Aifos” for years, and that’s for good reason. I really like this username. I briefly considered changing it to Skullheart Aifos, and and I really like the name I almost had; The DREAM Jester, but no, First Aifos wins. I’m willing to bet I’ll never change it. Aside from what’s listed above, the only other usernames I recall having are TTPOCC, Intriin, and The Irken Overlord, so as you can see, Aifos really doesn’t have much competition. [spoiler]Fun story: When I hired my editor for my book, my email apparently still had the name “The Irken Overlord” attached, and so he called me Irken instead of my real name. It ws quite embarassing! (and is also fixed now)[/spoiler]

4 RepliesIt's not my current Bungie name, but rather an old Smash Bros one. A while back, my dad gave me the nickname "Chief," and I liked it. So I tried to use it in Smash. Then I spelled it wrong. Instead of "I am chief," it was, and I kid you not, "I am chehf." I didn't notice I spelled it wrong until it was too late, and it became my favorite.

Saitonia is a personally iconic username for me. This current one's fine, but I prefer 2 names separating me on forums from me in D2.

Used Kynee in the past, which indicates the helmet of Hades that hides the dead from living ones. I use 5분전멸 수호자 (Guardian that dies within 5 minute) or 5_min_guardian currently. I think it's funny when you remind of lore and concept of Guardians - conditionally immortal, but every sniper units can kill you nearly instantly and bounce you off to orbit in game.

This was my 360 gamertag way back when. I changed it a few times since then but I’ve always come back to it on here as well as on Xbox. My Steam and Apple handles are different, and I like those too but in a different way.
