I suppose this goes without saying, but . . . April Fools! I'm not actually leaving the union. I would be foolish to let something so simple as internet debates pull me away from the great times I've had here at The Christian Halo Union. Cruel, aren't I?
I'm leaving the union. It's been good, and I have, for the most part, enjoyed my time here. However, I simply can't continue this. Aside from my own busy life—not to mention my constant struggle to complete a novel—I feel the debates of this union have had a negative impact on my lifestyle.
Over the last couple months, the CHU has taken a noticeably downward spiral. It is for this reason that we’re cracking down on debates. As of 9:00am this morning, all debate threads are being locked. I’m not discriminating against anyone here. The fact is, I fear too much bickering will tear this group apart.
