Rage mode in Destiny
What if, as a spacemagic ability, there was some kind of rage mode, where you could do much more damage and you'll be a lot faster in your actions, but with some kind of negative, say low sheild/health. Your thoughts? (I don't know if this topic has already been discussed, as I have been on a long yet successful pilgrimage.)

This hasn't just been done in Borderlands, but also in Dragon Age (O & 2) and many other games besides. I think even some MMOs have this concept brought in. Beserker/Rage mode is a bit over used in my opinion and Bungie can think of something better and more unique.

To all of you who said no.....why not? You say it would copy boarderlands, but this is Bungie's new baby, they can do whatever they want to make it awesome.... Just my thought.

2 RepliesI'm going to say no, simply because I've heard on several occasions that Destiny looks like Borderlands (which is not my personal opinion), but incorporating a rage mode, which is one of the abilities in Borderlands, would only intensify that association.

A 'focus' ability would be better/less borderlasnds associated. So focus would increase speed, damage and possibly defense.

Like killing 15 fallen in a row activates space magic super punch! Instead of shooting your main attack, it blows up X2! That would be dope. But not a time limited rage, that just turns me off towards that subject.
