Araibas the hunter - part 2

As the captain drew closer, Araibas was searching for a place to hide .He rolled through a small hole out into the shadow of a scrap bit of metal,arabis saw two old rusted pikes parked in the centre of the triangular court yard.The captain must of come out of a hatch near one of the rusted walls.The hatch door was still open.The captain was now searching for Araibas manually (because he turned of his comms and only the fallen captains were blessed with a radar in their helmets, so that meant if there was a captain about all personal have to turn of all radio frequency equipment off.) Araibas was alone. No help. All Araibas had to do now was to get too the old metal hatch,set the bomb and run. If Araibas ran now he stood a chance of making it before the captain got to him. So he ran with half his cape fluttering in the wind, but he did not make it, a fallen vandal had stepped out of the hatch. And by this time the captain had came to join in on the commotion. Araibis. Was. Alone. The next thing he heard was the crack of a gun, certain it was the end of him ,he and the vandal were surprised when it was not Araibas that fell but the captain.The captain fell to the ground with a thud ,kicking up a pillar of dust into the air .Araibas used this distraction to whip out his dagger and fling it in between the vandals eyes. Araibis quickly took the bomb and planted it with in the fallen's little base (and also took some loot while he was there )as he came out the hatch he looked up to a small dusty hill ,about five hundred meters away. There stood a shadowy figure. Araibas used the zoom feature in his helmet, He took a step back after he realised who it was. A legend among all guardians.
