Well at least it will give the nextbox time too come down in price
Bungie is to produce four games, one every other year from 2013 (although Activision has now confirmed Destiny won’t release until 2014)

Considering Halo: Reach has been out since September 14, 2010, it's quite disappointing. Bungie already takes one and a half game development cycles to make their games before. Considering Destiny was obviously being worked on since Halo 3: ODST, it's a major letdown.

I WANT OUR BUNGIE OVERLORDS TO TAKE THEIR TIME. IT IS BETTER THAT WAY. PLEASE DON'T HURT ME.
-
I want bungie to take their time with this. I want Destiny to be perfect if that means I have to wait a little longer to play it so be it but that means when the Destiny train pulls in its going to be awesome party time!!!! So bare with it a little longer Guardians!!

I purchased an Xbox Slim in 2012, so I am more than happy to let my funds regenerate before I buy a new PS4 for Destiny.
-
I have some ideas on why activison aren't bring it out this year 1)it will interfere with CoD ghost sales 2)it will also interfere with destiny sales
-
I'm happy, the more time it sits and bakes, the more polish it has when we get our hands on it.
-
As long as it comes out 2014 1Q
-
I'm happy because I read somewhere that they just got all of the game functions running about a month or two ago. They still need time to make this the best.
-
I'm not going to lie, I'm a little disappointed we are going to see it drop in 2013. However, I'd rather Bungie have all the time they need to polish and test the game. I trust Bungie to do whatever they need to do to deliver a kick ass game.
-
Fix it right, Why rush it and ruin all we've seen so far. 2014 ok for me. (hopefully Q1)
-
Happy. Gives them more time to polish the game and me more time to prepare for next gen.
-
I'd rather wait for a quality, finished product than have a half-assed game now.
-
this game is going to eat me alive just like WoW did back in the day. So I guess I can wait. Ill take this down time to take walks in the park, enjoy nature and beautiful sunny days. Ill continue to date people and enjoy a bunch of social gatherings. But when the ball drops in 2014 Im throwing all that Hippy crap in the trash! I have to follow my Destiny.

I can't remember if, back before Bungie.next, it was confirmed to not come in 2013 or 2012. It's been too long and I've lost plenty of info since the change.
-
Annoyed It better be released in January then.
-
holding it out till 2014 allows them to fix it up real nice gettin the the bugs out finishing the gameplay and macking sure everything is readyto go before launch i just hope the games ending is good no one wants a Mass Effect 3 repeat do we
-
By the time it comes out, it will be the most polished game out there. There is always a great reward for hard work, and I consider waiting for Destiny a very extreme task to accomplish.
-
Happy, just because there is a chance Destiny will be released after Feb. 23, the day I finish college, giving me more free time to play Destiny.
-
I am happy they are taking the time to polish this game. I would rather have a game that Bungie is 100% happy with instead of something rushed with flaws.
-
I'm happy with that. 2014, 2016, 2018 and the finale in 2020! Perfect
-
Honestly? I'm happy. Well, happy enough. I missed out on the ground floor of Halo. I was but a youngster too poor to afford the XBox and I missed out on a lot. When I got older (I'm 25 now), I bought an Xbox AND a 360 just to play Halo, Halo 2, and Halo 3. Then I kind of had to do the big kid thing and I joined the military. Lol. So I missed out on ODST, Reach, and what was the strategy one... Wars? In any case, so being here now while Destiny is coming up and is fresh and absolutely stunning, I will soak it all in like a sponge. That being said, I want this title to come out as perfect as it can be. When the Bungie team feels as though its ready, and then they tweak it some more and polish it even more after that... Then I'll be waiting. Lol. Also, I need time to buy the next gen, a new TV, and my Klipsch sound bar/ I need a good stereo headset.
-
I want them to take all the time they need to make this game perfect
-
Not gutted much. e3 has been crazy
-
Hey I am dreamer and still hope it comes out this year..

Edited by JohnnyLovesYou: 6/11/2013 5:39:27 AMWe already new this. EDIT: Oblivious idiots on this site only finding this out now it seems.

Chrome is going to be jealous of the polish Bungie is going to give Destiny by holding off for a 2014 release.
