FAQ: How to join the clan

If you would like to join The Spartan I Project clan, you need to follow these steps, in this order: 1. Become a member of our community on spartan1project.com/forum. [url=http://spartan1project.com/forum/index.php?action=register]Click here to register an account[/url] and follow the prompts. 2. Introduce yourself to the community by creating a new thread on our [url=http://spartan1project.com/forum/index.php?board=14.0]Introductions board[/url]. 3. On Bungie.net, submit a request to join the clan. 4. Send a personal message to SlashingArbiter on the community website, or on Xbox Live - this is to let me know that I should check my inbox here on Bungie.net. 5. Your request to join should be handled within 48 hours, and the clan name should appear on your nameplate when the request is approved. [b]Why are you doing this?[/b] The main reason for doing this is that there are only 200 available spots in the clan (100 for Xbox, 100 for PlayStation) and there are 15,000 members of this group. Another reason is that all of our scheduling and coordination for running activities in Destiny happen on our own website. If you're in the clan but don't play with clan members regularly, there's pretty much no point. If you join the website and get to know us, being a member of this clan will be more valuable to you. If you follow the steps above, your request to join the clan will likely be approved. Requests are only denied if (a) the clan is full, (b) you are currently banned from the community, or (c) you didn't follow the above steps in the right order. [b]I can't register on your website/I haven't received an activation email[/b] Send an email to thespartan1project@gmail.com using the same email address you used to register. Include your screenname in the body of the email. [b]I requested to join a long time ago and you haven't approved it yet[/b] Join requests expire after about 2 weeks on the website. Leave the group, rejoin, and then resubmit the join request. Make sure you send a message to SlashingArbiter so your new request doesn't expire again.
