[Announcement] Clan FAQ

I decided to compile some of the top questions we've had on our group wall or in our forums, etc. as many of them are not being answered as efficiently as they should be. Reply to this topic with any other questions you might have about us, our leaders, how we work or questions about the group and introduce yourself if you're new here. [--Why won't it let me set COOL as my XBL clan? ~ That's because of one of 2 reasons. The clan is maxed out (only 75 Xbox players can set this group as their clan before it's maxed out so if it isn't maxed, then reserve your spot). Bungie will reactivate or allow the leaders of each clan to reactivate the clan system on launch day. [--What does "resetting" the clan features of the group mean? ~ When we reset the clan features, we disable them and re-activate them so that it all players that have the group set as their clan no longer have it set that way. By the way, it doesn't mean anybody gets booted from the group, it only resets the number of players who have COOL set as their clan to 0 allowing some players who haven't had a chance to get the COOL clan tag in-game get it the next time they login to Destiny if they can set it as their clan before all the spots are taken. [-- How often will the clan features be reset? ~ TBC, probably once a month until we get more clanmates [-- Are you a community or a clan? ~ We will always be a community at the core as that's what we were founded on, but for those who want a clan, we're working on a solution for that since the clan features is limited to 150. The clan features in this group are used to unite our members and have a clan tag before all our usernames in-game, spreading the word of COOL as we play the Crucible and explore the solar system. [-- Can you accept me into the group? ~ All members are instantly accepted into the group. [-- Where can I introduce myself or get into some matches with other COOL members? ~ Post on our group wall, it's open 24/7. You can also get up a fast fireteam by looking around and adding some other COOL players who are on your console of choice or posting a thread in our forums. Make sure to mention you're from COOL if you're sending a friend request to somebody in the group or it may be denied. FYI, we do not and will not keep a roster of all our members, so use the methods listed above for the best results. [-Can I be in this clan and another at the same time? ~ At our core, we're a community and never will be a clan with rules and regulations. If you're part of a clan, please stay in it as this is a social hub and community and will not supplement your clan experience if you're looking for that. If you want a relaxed place where anybody can come and chill, then this is the place for you. So to answer the question, yes, stay in your clan but join us and have some fun anyway! [-What rules/creed do you have? ~ We only ask that if you're wearing our clan tag that you represent the group well and don't be a jerk to other players in COOL.
