Music while gaming?
Do you listen to music why gaming, or are you straight focused? Also what song are you listening to lately?

Well usually it's metalcore or punk music. Recently I played Gta V while listening to Green Day American Idiot album. And I played Halo Reach and Halo 3 while listening to Crown the Empire. There's just something about The Fallout to fit with matchmaking and custom games...

There's not much better than The Elder Scrolls and Two Steps from Hell. Actually, Two Steps from Hell can make anything seem crazy important.

I typically game with music, it just depends on my mood and the games atmosphere. For Assassin's Creed, it's either going to be Gojira or Fleshgod Apocalypse; BF3 is going to be Fleshgod Apocalypse or Decapitated; Halo would be Lamb of God or Pantera; so on and so forth. Lately, I've been using Spotify and have been playing BF3.

It really depends on what game i'm playing. For example; the original DOOM has mostly fast-paced music to go along with fast-paced gaming. But if it's a straight up horror game, I prefer no music or some creepy music to go with it. But for single player games I like for there to be music, which was one of the things I didn't like about Halo: CE, not enough bad-ass-music moments. I've also been listening to music by Alestorm.

1 ReplyI can't handle music when gaming, unless it is something really calm like minecraft or sim city. When I'm playing serious I can't take the noise, it gives me a headache trying hear footsteps while I have music playing in the background.
