Attempting to log into PSN would throw an error code "8001050F.” Server maintenance? Nope. Devoid of trophy synchronization with PSN, trophy-enabled games became corrupted and consequently, game saves became impossible to platinum on. Even if you weren’t a trophy fanatic, you were still affected because games would fail to load. It reached DEFCON 1 when SONY publicly advised its users to abstain from playing for 24 hours during their search for the cure. Hence, the “APOCALYPS3.” Let’s be honest, we were defenseless without our DUALSHOCK3s and our first foray into the outside world of non-gaming life is nothing to boast about.
