Sniping tips

One of my goals for Destiny is to get really good with a sniper. However, i am AWFUL at sniping. I take far too long trying to line up the perfect shot and always die in the process. So i was hoping for some advice on how to improve myself. Any would be appreciated. xbox 360 GT Macattacka1684

    What works for me speed in my hunter. Run to an area I believe will be safe, slide behind cover, check for nearby enemies, stay crouched so I blink on the radar, and scope in an out to check my radar every now and then
