Now that the beta has ended, we all have an idea of what the final release will be like. If you found yourself lacking a competent team, whether it was in the Crucible or various PvE activities, you know how valuable a team can be. Instant Karma is a Xbox One clan with experience in many FPS games as well as MMO experience. We are seeking members who get on pretty regularly as we are geared more towards competitive and high level play, without the elitism that usually comes with it. While we wait for Destiny, we'd like to start laying the foundation for a cohesive gaming experience. Currently our members can be found in Halo, Titanfall, BF4, CoD, as well as others. Join up and let's run it!

Tips & Tricks (vanguard marks)

Ok, this thread will be about Tips & Tricks, not common sense stuff, but actual tips that people may not know. To start us off, Vanguard Marks. In the beta i found it oddly super hard to gain vanguard marks, crucible marks were easy, just play crucible, but for vanguard marks, it says you need to do high level missions, strikes and bounties, but even though i was doing stuff at the hardest difficulty i could at lvl 8, i wasnt getting any by doing these things. A tip to get alot of vanguard marks is to do the 'star side missions' when free roaming, these are the side missions marked with a star icon when pulling up your ghost when out in the wild, for completing these 'star side missions' you will get 25 vanguard rep (or faction rep if using a specific faction class item) 100 glimmer, and 10 spin metal. For every 40 spinmetal you get, you can turn in to the Vanguard Quartermaster (or Crucible Quartermaster) for extra Vanguard Marks or Crucible Marks in the tower. So, go free roam, do star missions, get spinmetal, and turn it for vanguard marks.

  • Here's one I just saw on the Destiny subreddit. It explains how elemental damage works against enemies. I figured I would post this because I actually had thought this was reversed, that blue shield would adsorb arc damage and that red would absorb solar.
