Favorite music

Always wondering what music people are listening to, while gaming or doing whatever? Lately I've been listening to a lot of Transit, a pop punk band from the east coast, as well as the Weakerthans, a Canadian indie band. Anyone else?

  • I listen to a lot of rock, Celtic music, instrumental stuff, and chillstep/melodic dubstep. I tolerate most anything though ^_^

I like remixes. I love to find old worship music that has been remixed into dubstep. But i don't like the lyrics to be gone though. I love hip hop. Tedashii, Trip Lee, Flame, Bizzle. I don't listen to secular anything.

    • I mostly listen to Metal: hardcore, thrash and melodic, although I pretty much stay away from death metal, since I find a lot of their themes dark and it is very hard to understand what they're saying. I have listened to Demon Hunter for a long time, but I have recently discovered other Christian metalcore bands like War of Ages, August Burns Red, Living Sacrifice and Haste the Day. If I feel like softening my music tastes for a change-up, I go with bands like Pillar, TFK, Skillet, Disciple or Kutless.

      • I listen to a lot of instrumental music. Some dubstep, some soundtracks from movies or anime that I watch. I like Hans Zimmer, he did the music for The Dark Knight, Pirates of the Caribbean and Gladiator. I also love the soundtrack to The Phantom of the Opera. For overtly Christian music, I listen to Hillsong, Nine Lashes, Switchfoot, Falling Up, Anberlin, Everyday Sunday and Owl City (he's actually Christian). I honestly don't listen to much secular music. It's either Christian or instrumental.

        • Dude there a lot of good Christian musicians out there, (if you haven't already heard of them, which you probably have). Lets see, there's TobyMac, Lecrae, Family Force 5, Thousand Foot Krutch, Skillet, Owl City(Who is surprisingly Christian!), Capital Kings, Royal Tailor, for KING and COUNTRY, Andy Mineo, KB, Trip Lee, etc. These are most of what I listen to. I also listen to the secular: Fall Out Boy, Zedd, etc.
