a little about me & the start of something good... I hope

I played a few pc games back in the eighties and early nineties. Played Quakes 1,2 and the other that was single player. Loved Half-life.... After a long hiatus, I wound up with an Xbox 360, and played mostly Skyrim. I love that game! My friends convinced me to pony up for a PS 4 - since they're all PS4 gamers. Now I'm waiting for them to get on board with Destiny! I never played any on-line games, so never PvP - which I may be the worst player in the known local universe. And have only played on a console from when I picked up Skyrim the December it came out. I never felt comfortable with using those damn things! Still don't! I need a lot of work, but I'm all about doing this for fun - at 58, I don't need any more stress! I respect all the good players out there, and hope to get a little better myself. I'm a gaming noob I guess.
