Intro to Classes

Here is a quick intro to the classes for those who didn't get a chance to play the Alpha. Leave any suggestions in the comments and I'll do my best to edit the sections accordingly. Titan Like Denzel's team, you'll always remember these Titans. As the name implies, of the three classes, this one is the toughest and can take the most punishment. This class is best suited for getting up close and personal with the enemy. In MMO terms, the Titan is closest to the Tank; good for drawing enemy fire and taking a beating so that their allies can really lay into them from afar with guns and magic. From my brief run with the Titan class in the Alpha, I felt like I was playing as Master Chief again. Running into groups of enemies and just using the brute strength to overpower them. This strategy is also supplemented with the Titan's AOE ability which allows them to -blam!- up anybody in the vicinity with some of the good ol' Guardian magic. http://destiny.wikia.com/wiki/Titan Warlock These motha-blam!-as are so good with magic it's tragic. The bulk of their damage will stem from their use of abilities. This isn't a class you'll wanna use to rush in guns blazing, but rather deal out damage from just outside the main fray similar to an MMO mage. The Warlock's super is a powerful ranged AOE attack which really comes in handy as a good initiating move on a group of unsuspecting enemies, or when you need to bail out of a situation that got too shitty too quick. I never played the warlocks but the few I ran strikes with were pretty helpful to have in the group. Expect more info to come soon. http://destiny.wikia.com/wiki/Warlocks Hunter Be the Hunter, so you don't have to be the hunted. Hunters are quick and agile (enhanced by their ability to double-jump) and great at outrunning and outgunning the other classes. They are described to be similar to MMO rogue classes. If you've played twitch shooters like the CoD series you'll enjoy the Hunter more than the other classes. With a throwing knife and a Golden Gun super ability that gives you 3 extra powerful shots, the ability to zero in on a target in an instant while on the run, is the key to success. Due to their quickness, the Hunters can take advantage of momentary distractions provided their teammates to jump in and quick take out an especially troublesome enemy with a quick burst of damage from their melee and super. To top it all off, these fools got some dope capes. http://destiny.wikia.com/wiki/Hunter Well that's all I've got so far. If you have anything you feel should be added, leave a comment or feel free to shoot me a message. Can't wait to see you all in the beta. BEYOND!
