If you want to improve in Digital art, you have to improve in traditional art first. Drawing on a piece of paper is way different than drawing on a tablet, in a program like Photoshop.
I'm still trying to pull off my training wheels for Digital art. Just focus on traditional art until your able to master your drawing/painting skills. Then try to get comfortable on a tablet.

Nice. I am currently getting my BFA in traditional studio art. I've been practicing using digital media, and showing my professors its a viable art form. Any advice?

Thanks man, I appreciate the words of encouragement.
