Whoa! Look at all that pretty armor! What could it all mean?
I know that rampant speculation will burn for a while on this topic. As you enjoy a conversation about the pearls of information that can be lifted from this, please bear a few things in mind...
1. Aside from giving it a name, Bungie has yet to reveal the House of Wolves. That means that anything you know about it can change. We have a team working on the experience in their own fancy room, and they have some exciting surprises up their sleeves.
2. We reserve the right to overwrite anything you're looking at right now. These placeholder items enable us to save room on your drive for actual future updates. You'll all download them before it's time to play.
3. Any stats or assumptions about power or impact or handsomeness are months old, and do not reflect the things that we're doing to adapt to what you've taught us about Destiny. There is a process here, and you're a part of it.
Leaks are fun. I totally get it. Please discuss to your heart's content. All we ask is that you leave your mind open to the evolutions that are inevitable. What you see here are very old ghosts from our pre-launch database. These are not necessarily the wolves you're looking for.
DeeJ, out.

so many people dont even have respect for you as a professional, but you dont mind getting on here and laying down the truth that we my as well not get our hopes up because HoW is going to be more monotonous nonsense on top of what youve already low balled us with. Placeholders lol... im sure there is an abundance of these "placeholders" so you can make sure you can update us with quick patches and we think nothing of the cost of such abysmal content... at least so far. stand up to whoever you need to and realize this game was more of a failure than uh challenging repetition.
-
I thought you guys didn't work on the DLC at all before the games release. Why are items for the expansion already on the pre-launch database?
-
With the amount of money backing this game franchise there should be new material released in regularly fashion. I want to hope they are adding to HoW, but I have a suspicion that it will be the same length as TDB. It really seems like the reason it's being pushed back is to help fill in the gaps between HoW and Comet.

HERE IS WHAT IS HAPPENING NOW: Bungie is rushing to change their "new" gear b/c this "new" gear has been something they have had (and we paid for) since PRE-LAUNCH. Now they have to change it to keep up the facade they aren't bleeding their loyalists for all they are worth, or sitting around a pool table in California jerking off to all the money they made off of their fraudulent product. Why do people still play this? It is mind boggling that the worst game in years by so many people is the only thing that some people are playing. Way to control them Bungie! These forums are funnier and more fun than the actual game.

Edited by bllove07: 2/4/2015 9:23:34 PMAnd thousands* of people play it. Thousands...* People have different opinions and I respect it but I think destiny is fun as I play with my friends IRL.
-
many agree with this guy, a little over 3 million isnt a big deal when over 100 million people have played games like WoW.
-
*hundreds of thousands
-
This LOL
-
But your here
-
If I don't get that hunter crucible helm I'll -blam!-ing kill myself (not for real but I really want it)
-
I've never seen so many leaks attached to one game.
-
That's because normally the dlc content isn't already on the games disc when its first shipped out. Its less of a leak and more of a delve in to the games files.
-
I never quite got how all this stuff was disc locked when the servers host the maps.
-
The levels and all the objects in the game are on the disc or your console, that's why you have to download the updates when there's new content or changes. The server just keeps track of where the objects are located and everyone's health.
-
All the maps and files for the game are either on the disc or downloaded in to your xbox/playstation. That's why you have to download updates when there's new content. The servers just keep track of where everything is located and what objects' status are. That's why when you lose connection the screen doesn't just black out; you'll shoot a few enemies or other players and it will have no affect on them, and then after a few seconds it will tell you your connection is lost.
-
Deej I'm immediately linking your reply when HoW is released and everything is exactly the same!
-
Better save it somewhere. When HoW is released, his response will mysteriously vanish.
-
Ha ha, I think you win this day.
-
ya make sure you keep all direction and info of this game as vague, crpytic and monotonous as possible
-
That's so people can't complain about it before it comes out. Then it would be obvious bungie is ignoring the game's players. If they release something they know is crap and people complain afterwards, then bungie can say that they didn't realize people felt that way and will do their best to improve in the future.
-
these aren't the droids you are looking for. Looks like someone is ready for the new installment of Star Wars :P
Me Too
-
Watch the same shit be released and nothing in the DLC change except for the weapons attack or not even that and we are bona be like -blam!- you bungie and i don't get why they can't release the DLC i mean they are done with it already , i get that they are saying they went back and now are changing stuff but i bet it isn't much to begin with
-
Maybe you guys at Bungie should perhaps give out more details....I know its radical....
-
I think we all know that the possibly halo inspired helmets may be the best looking pieces of gear youve put out to date. Especially those leaked hunter ones, please god do no change them because they are B-E-A-UTIFUL!!!

Edited by Black Mammoth: 2/4/2015 6:20:17 PMI do hope the vanguard armor for Titan is being redesigned to look better, because right now I don't think it looks good...
