I have an idea on changing the mechanics of Golden Gun
Currently you activate your special and hopefully use your 3-4 shots before the special bar runs out
Now what if instead of that, once your special was activated with L1 and R1, it would begin to drain your special slowly. Each shot fired would then burn a chunk of special bar equal to 33% of the total or 25% if using achlyophage symbiote.
Now the neat part comes
You can now press L1 and R1 again at any time to stop your special and save whatever special bar you have left
So if you only had an opportunity to use 1 or 2 shots you could still save that last ~33% by deactivating it.
But you can't reactivate it again until your special bar gets maxed, you'll just get back quicker.

Thought it would be an interesting mechanic while not being OP

Super bar charges in 3rds, or 4ths using Symbiote, and every portion charged when the super is activated would give it a bullet

Cool idea, but extremely powerful. GG is arguably the best super as is, if it received more versatility...

Maybe not a manual deactivation of your super, but if you get killed while using it then you get a percentage of your super back depending on how many bullets you have left.

Well seeing as the hunter's supers are already the strongest in pvp (due to length of use / amount of potential kills amongst other things) this would only give it more power. That's the equivalent of allowing the force barrier to be used at half super strength for half the size or having the nova bomb be recharged to 2/3 - 3/4 if only one kill is achieved. It'll break the game. It already feels like the majority of my kills are from a super and this would only make the game much worse. Sorry :/

To OP. People could carry around two shots. Use it for the next enemy they see, then save it for another enemy. It's supposed to be about a rush to get the kills before time runs out

This sounds good, but if this was the case, I would imagine that it would get needed hella fast. Our golden guns and arc blades already got nerfed to shit, so this would definitely get smoked fast too.

I really like this idea, but you know that the other classes would scream about it being OP since they'd still have to blow their whole super wad at once.

I actually REALLY, really like this! It´s quite frustrating to activate it, just to have someone steal the kill or only one guy to target. Kudos for the suggestion!
