House of Wolves will increase the damage to 362, you will have to reset all your exotics, again.
How would you feel about that?
Personally I think that might be the final nail in Destiny's coffin, for me at least. Extending playtime be resetting progress isn't a good mechanic at all in my opinion.

The upgrading exotics is such an easy solution. Keep with the exotic shards, keep with the random exotic upgrade selection. But when you spend the shard and glimmer on the upgrade, it upgrades it to version three at the same equivalent damage levels as the one you just upgraded. So: Bare bones none upgraded exotic goes to be upgraded, you spend the dough, you get a version 3 exotic bare bones at the new base damage level. A maxed one goes in, a maxed ones comes out (at the new damage cap) One that's only half way upgraded? It comes out half way upgraded to the new damage cap. So simple, yet no doubt Bungie will find a way to screw us over yet again.
