To start off, I'm writing this from my phone so I apologize for any mistakes I miss correcting. I remember when Destiny first came out and I was super excited by the concept and have sunk many hours into becoming Legend. Then after grinding for better gear, finally running VOG and getting the best gear. Frustration began to set in, after all the complaints about the bugs that existed in the raid, Bungie only ever seemed to be concerned with fixing the things that made it easier to run and not the things that were broken. We all have experienced the horrible bugs trying to kill Atheon and how many hours it could take because of them, but only the cheeses were ever fixed. Nothing else was truly acknowledged. As the fixes rolled in, it became more and more clear that Bungie says "[b]Become Legend[/b]" but the reality is that we all play to get the same exact gear, the same weapons and are all forced to play the game how they think we should. So we have all become Legendary Lemmings... Then Crota's End came out and after Christmas they immediately began to reign us in and say "this is how we want you to play." They try to spin it off as a bit of a joke but it's not funny. No, it's sad. Destiny lacks customization, the best weapons have fixed stats, same with the armor as well. Don't say it doesn't just because a couple of numerical values change. Every class tries to get the same gear for their class. The vendors sell crap gear and the random drops are better than what is sold. I don't know the last time I heard anyone buy a vendor gun. We use the random drop legendaries that can be better or worse than those or we just use raid or exotics. It's frustrating to say the least that Bungie just leads us around however they feel and don't truly hear our input. I was so hopeful for Destiny too. I was excited about exploring different areas but to work is far too small to really explore anything, the ceiling is too low and it's nothing but disappointing. Hopefully things improve with the next expansion but I'm not going to get my hopes up. Maybe one day we will be able to skip the cut scenes as well instead of having to watch everything every time we run the missions.
