If you're tired of people killing everything in strikes try this!
If you're like me and you rush past everything, but there's that 1 guy lagging behind killing stuff then help a guardian out. Get to the checkpoint and then kill yourself. More than likely you'll be the only guardian at that checkpoint when you are playing with these slow unhelpful people so it will just wipe the group and respawn everyone at the checkpoint you just died at. Easy way to tell if you're the only one at a check point is to just look at your radar. If you don't see any green on it then you're the only one in that checkpoint. So if you wanna be the boss and set the pace of the strike then give this a try!!!! Works well for me

Chance for purples and levels your cryptarch. Like another person said if you want to skip everything then get some friends to do it with you and not annoy people. As much as it annoys you that people play the game it's equally annoying to people who DO want to play to be forced to go past everything.

People who speed run and then wipe on purpose just show they don't have the skill to down a boss on their own.

5 RepliesI did this once. Got placed with 2 32s on Sepiks Roc. I go forward to the stairs, look back and they're a mile behind. No problem, they're working their way up. I get back to the laser tripmines and look back and they're out over near the entrance to King's Watch (in that general area). I start to get suspicious but keep playing. Two waves in, they're still out there, and I realize they're chest farming and planning to piggyback off my solo-ing. No way is that happening, I thought. Decided to run into the lasers. "You have been consumed by the Darkness." This brings them up to me. They immediately run off back to the Rocketyard. I smile and watch and wait for them to reach it before walking back into the lasers. Another wipe. At this point they know I know and start punching me. I dance at them to show that I'm not carrying them. They get mad and go to Orbit. Good riddance.

Here's my thing. Sometimes I rush, sometimes I kill every living thing I see. My real question is since we get matched with players of close to the sale rank who still needs legendary or blue engrams at level 31/32? What am missing because I sure as hell don't need and more shards or energy.

I don't mind speed running strikes but I do enjoy killing everything before that. I get alot of legendary ' s and blues that way.

I kill everything in strikes, and I enjoy that it makes you mad because you think I'm playing wrong. Go ahead and get to the boss, and have fun picking away at him until I get there because one guardian isn't going to put it down as fast as your short attention span can bear.

Having done SR's on other games, I have to agree. And disagree. Unfortunately, there's no system in game where you can LFG. (Like on FFXIV.) It's outside the game and good luck having people read any details. So, to keep it short. Look for people who wish to speedrun. If you want to kill enemies, well patrol is there for a reason...

This is why bungie needs to go back and do maintenance on there strikes make them like the new ones where you can't just run past everything you have to find ish each group. I play strike for loot but also for glimmer which if I'm using a glimmer item I will take my time and kill everything.
