Says legit in title and all I tasted was cheddar.
It's ashame that people think standing on a rock and shooting an Ogre is "legit". Remember on day one where we got to the end, and ACTUALLY held the Hive back on the circle platform until the bridge was built. Yea... legit... okay...

Maybe they should make the rocks taller, or just not put any rocks there? Maybe the next raid should just be in a giant, plain box. Filled with enemies and bosses. Nothing else. Legit.

You twat! What do you think the rocks are there for? The lamps allow you to jump to...wait for it...THE ROCKS! You can not possible think Bungie meant for no fireteams to ever make it across the bridge because that is the result of not using rocks to snipe the ogres 90% of the time. The other 10% has titans putting up weapons of light and using the helm of sait 14, which can also in your book be considered a cheese I guess. I'm thinking you assume the correct way to do this is to let the thralsl kill you and then kiss Bungies ass in appreciation. Thing is I'm fairly certain they'd turn around and call you a muppet for not using the rocks they put in the game to help you!

the way I look at it, the maze lay out has rocks on every lamp... seems like it was a design built in with the map for strategic purposes.

Yea seriously! Why would you just stand on level ground if you see a wave (thrall) coming? You wouldn't you would get to high ground

He's not cheesing anything. He's not stopping anything from spawning or glitching the game to get to the end. No the guy actually ran through the whole thrall section and jumping on specific places. Is it cheesing when Bungie themselves placed those rocks there? He's using a strategy that doesn't compromise the game and it works. Standing on circular plate? Yeah if you're still stupid to not realize that you don't need to.

I just switched systems and had to start over from scratch And re leveling and getting ascendant and radiant mats is a bytch I have soloed the raid on lock and Titan But hunter i failed miserably Love to see how its done especially totems And deathsinger parts

Totems I fly across towards the rock on the left after getting to your peak height on the bridge pathway. Alternately you could hop on and off the platform til the bridge builds. Deathsinger isn't bad, you pull both wizards go to a tower take them out and then the shriekers are 1 ghorn a piece. Go into her spawn from the left side and if timed correctly she'll be starting liturgy which makes her stand still, soooooo easy then few ghorns or sniper headshots and she is toast.

Really it isn't about how it's done. Cheesing is using a glitch to exploit the game. Not terrain in the game. Granted I would be way more impressed to see someone hold the bridge without the rock. However using the rock isn't Cheesing. Idc how you look at it.

Everybody who does it solo either jumps on rock or just goes invisible if a hunter or blind bubbles them. No one would be able to fight off the thralls, Knights and ogre by themselves there even using the bridge without one of those. If they didn't want us to do that rock, why not remove it or make it higher? I prefer to see ones who hit nearly all the lamps rather then the ones who jump from the second lamp.

Edited by primordial45lord: 1/26/2015 4:42:30 PMAs a warlock i: Use MIDA multitool with the mida perk Have double solar grenades Murmur and song of ir yut for more grenades Max speed stats Radiant skin/ -blam!- fireborn I feel like a solar speed god-like warlock, I just pop a synth at the beginning for my lmg, I run like a -blam!-er till the fouth lamp, throw grenade, wait for cool down, and the rest I change between super, kill with murmur, song of ir yut, both have the grenadier perks, so more grenades yay :3, and mida multi-speed-tool for the lulz, when you get to the platform just jump in one of the corners of the bridge, they are as aide form rocks, switch weapons for a rocket launcher, kill ogre and run like a -blam!-er again :3

These topics are stupid! Cheese is abusing the games ai not using a sound strategy. You would not see soldiers standing in the open when they could be in cover or out of reach.
