Why on earth would anyone use Pulse Rifles?
Figured out it was about time to start upgrading my Bad Juju. Man, was that a bad idea. I felt like I just reached puberty and tried fondeling breasts for the first time. Felt awkward, and I was just clumsy and out of my comfort zone.
What's your excuse for using a Pulse Rifle?

After reading through your posts, and seeing how many have a positive experience with PR, I've decided to give it another go with Bad Juju (combined with my Obsidian Mind). Thanks for the productive feedbacks

Omg... Pulse rifles are amazing. I was in PvP earlier and was tired of using my up for anything and decided to give bad juju a try for the first time in crucible and it was amazing!! I was using send it for that bonus range and if you're good with recoil control you can land constant headshots thanks to the full auto. And supers charge way faster with it !

I hated them too until I got oversoul edict, it doesn't have that shitty slow fire rate that every pulse rifle is famous for, and it has good stability, works almost like an auto rifle with the full auto perk

Pulse rifles definitely need some love, but they are my favorite weapon type. They are just fun to use. When you get a good one they can be great too. I have a three little words with all the right perks on it. Headseeker, glass half full and field scout. It does a lot of damage and the only legendary primary I use. My red death is pretty deadly as well, the stability sucks, but with skill that can be midigated. All in all just a lot of fun but still hope they get a much needed buff soon.

Pulse rifles are headshot weapons that's their power if you aren't a good shot stay away from them

I used Praedyth's Timepiece this week on the Nightfall just for a change from Fatebringer. Bad JuJu is fun for patrols but that's about it. Red Death is the most useful of them all with the health regeneration perk. Those are the only ones I can stand to use.

Red death is pretty awesome for hard raid in vs crota. I use it over ghorn.

There are two in particular I like very much, at least for PVP. The Stranger's Rifle with all of the stability bonus abilities on is very good. It is a three headshot kill with a decent rate of fire and very little bullet spread. Three Little Words is another one I have used recently and it is probably one of my new favorite guns overall. It's a two headshot kill on PVP if all six bullets hit.

Finish upgrading it, once you get the"String of Curses" upgrade, you will understand. Also, pulse rifles (at least the ones I've used) tend to have little to no recoil, which is why I like them

Bad JuJu isn't bad when leveled. It can actually be a deadly combo with an Obsidian Mind and a voidwalker. Pulse rifles are great in that they can be utilized close range in a spray and pray manner and still give you those criticals in bursts long range. All weapons have a learning curve. And having spent enough time fooling around with all of them the only thing I don't like is using shotguns in PVE.

2 RepliesBad Juju is still on the lower end of impact for pulse rifles. Not very good outside of the Obsidian Mind combo. Red Death is more powerful which most guardians like. If you can't get your grubby hands on it...like me. I recommend trying Three Little Words. Sold by the Crucible Vanguard. It's a high impact pulse like Red Death and has the Headseeker perk which is nice. It's the only pulse I like really.

Time on Target is a great pulse rifile since it has a similar fire rate and Impact as Bad JuJu. I like to pull that out from time to time.

I tried to use one on a new character. It confused me so bad half the time I didn't even return fire in Pvp because I wasn't sure if it would even be effective XD

Grimoire, its the last primary weapon type. After that im going back to hand cannons, i miss those babies.
