House of Wolves will increase the damage to 362, you will have to reset all your exotics, again.
How would you feel about that?
Personally I think that might be the final nail in Destiny's coffin, for me at least. Extending playtime be resetting progress isn't a good mechanic at all in my opinion.

4 RepliesIt's just a big "F*** YOU" if they are going to make us relevel all our gear once again, and it's especially big if they add light 36-40 gear at vanguard/crucible masters. If they do this, they really don't care about the players, just about the endless grinding so they can grab as much time from us as possible and earn along the process. I really hope they do it different this time, if not, I'm done.

3 RepliesIf HoW turns out to be more existing levels played backwards and a regrind of everything for a new lightcap I'll not be pre-ordering anymore destiny content. I sincerely dig the game but my enthusiasm is waning. £20 doesn't break the bank, but for one raid and a new voice over on existing locations it does kind of take the piss.

I'm really hoping they just have an option to buy another damage tree so we can all keep our exotics and not have to restart and grind them all a third time. Yes, if I have to regrind all my exotic guns again, I'm not sure I'll stay to do it. That just sounds demoralizing lol.

1 ReplyFor everybody who thinks we should be grateful to still be able to Upgrade our old exotics ... No we shouldn't, because that way bungie has to only implement 3-4 exotics each expansion, instead of 15-20, if we couldn't Upgrade the old ones. Which Would mean more work on their end, which would of course cost more than just a couple new ones. I am sorry, but everybody who defends this kind of behavior Must be mad. I'd rather level up 15 new exotics than 15 old ones with just slightly more damage.

13 RepliesIt's how the game run and how it should be. If there was no increase what would the point be? Any similar game is the same. New content comes in with better gear so you have to work for it. Too many people wanting everything handed to them.

1 ReplyI don't see why rerolling is such an issue. I had no issue with it when I bought TDB as part of the Expansion Pass. Rerolling just means now I'll have something else to work towards once I reach my level cap.

1 ReplyIt's DLC. It should just be extra stuff you can get. Not increase to level so all the other shit is useless. All the stuff from the original game is barely used especially armour. If everything was the same level people would have a wide choice in how to look yet everyone is weaing the same shit using the same weapons. If they are gonna increase level and attack weapons every DLC they need to do the same for old DLC and the original game content.

1 ReplyThat's bs...it's been hard and grinding enough as it is to reset stuff and lose at min 20+ hrs of leveling guns and armor. If that's the case then radiant shards need to drop @ least 7-14 per raid to compensate leveling the armor.. as is it takes with one character @ least 2 months of Crota normal to hit 32 without eris morn. And she takes forever to get to lvl 4 with only 3/4 bounties per day

4 RepliesHave you read the neogaf post? It specifically says that the progression for exotics will not be the same in future DLCs. Raid gear will not be made obsolete with vendor gear the way that VoG gear was. These were the two chief issues that were made with the introduction of The Dark Below.

If the current system stays the same (Bungie says it won't, but we'll see), I would only upgrade: -Helm of Saint 14 -Ruin Wings -Hawkmoon -Icebreaker -Gjallarhorn They really need to increase the glimmer cap.
